Go on any ps2 game online and there are no servers. I tried to play swbf2 yesterday but no luck. They'll shut the MGS4 ones off when the next generation of consoles come out, not the next MGS title. You can still play Guitar hero 2, cod 3 etc online and there are many sequels within this generation of consoles. Do not fret young one, they'll be up for a long time.

I can honestly say as A authentic non-boosting DOB in MGO1 that MGO2 is superior, while graphics never make A game the sheer lack of options in MGO are what exiled it, The only CQC you had was A throw down & everyone looked generic, no customization and everything was VERY limited. I would like to see A MGO Classic one day on the PSN store though still, nostalgia aside.. MGO2 is the better game.

I never played the old one, but the new one is pretty perfect too. So much more playable than any other multiplayer game with the surviva/tournament modes, proper clan support, text chat and amazingly fun gameplay.
