But I think it wasn't CAT III, CAt III is when you see the runway, when you're nearly at touchdown...

@LuftfahrtFan thanks, yeah this video was when i first got FS and the PMDG, Im working on a new few project's involving the PMDG 747 at the moment, some really cool approaches, including crosswinds,engine failures,and full FMC flights. this plane really is TOP of the must haves for fsx/fs2004

@TheFSguy this was a replay of my landing,lol, the warning signs always come on when theres a replay,the PMDG 747 does some rather silly things in playback mode

wing veiw isnt modled in the virtual cockpit so walk and follow allows you to move to any veiw you want outside the aircraft,,you can move freely and if you wanted to you could put the fuckin veiw in space if you want...clear enuf 4 u butter cup!!!!!

my video editing software lets me do that...You need SonyVegas 8.0 then you need a Plugin called NewBlueFX...

ok you need a program called DBS walk and follow or Activecamera beacuse you can only see thewings from outside the cockpit

where do u tune the ils in pmdg .

Open the FMC and press on the PAD NAVAID and were it says ILS type for Example 110.10/354 the click the ils key at the side of it

ok after that does the stuff u supposed to see on the screen come up.

when you select a runway threw the depart/ arrive button on the fmc go into arrivals and there will be ILS runways as well as normal and all you need to do then is select LOC then press the APP on the autopilot and it will land its self

ok you need to look on here for PMDG 747 tutorials beacuse if you dnt understand this your gonna need serious help,,,1,read the manual,2,watch tutorials beacuse this plane is so complex...

That hazy, apparently green-tinted scenery makes it look very realistic! Either that, or the air is smog-filled!

I like how the normal bumpiness occurs when the plane is preparing to land!

it was foggy on this approach,,,but i made it look more hazy bye adding a glow effect in my video,,the shaky effect is from sony vegas.8.0..its what i use on most ov my new videos,,the sounds are from a clip ov a real landing video on youtube.
