wow, to think helmets were only brought in in the last 50 years. seems kind of barbaric watching hockey with no helmets, kind of like the early UFC events with no gloves or rules
I wonder if this was a generic NHL promo with CBC, CBS (which aired the NHL in the late 1960's) and local stations carrying NHL games being able to put-in their own "tags" at the end of the spot, i.e. "'The NHL On CBS', every Sunday afternoon" or "See Boston Bruins Hockey On TV-38".
Does anyone have a copy of the closing theme music from this time? It was just night street scenes as if from the car on the drive home from the game. Thanks

during the 60's for certain period of time HNIC also broadcast wednesday night games...I remember the wed night promo as well.

@ldhorricks I thought CTV carried Wednesday-night NHL regular-season games for roughly a decade from the mid 1960's to the mid 1970's.
