didnt know they allowed catholics in the lodge one of them in them bands is mick prout went to our school savio with his sister ann marie always thought it was protestant only but fair do to ye all
After the English had finished their genocidal ethnic cleansing of the north of Ireland they had to move in many people from Scotland to live on and work the land. The thing most northerners are unaware of is many of these Scots planters came from blood lines going back to when Ireland Ruled much of Scotland under the Dal Riada a kingdom that influenced most of Scotland. In Fact this is why many Scots can still speak Gaelic. Also the term Scotti means Irishman. So Welcome home my Irish Brethren
Liverpool is the land of No Surrender, looking forward once again to going down for The Annual Apprentice Boys of Derry parade in Loyalist Liverpool and Protestant Southport, roll on June 2012
I just moved to Southport in the last year from Northern Ireland and didn't realise they had a parade and I went all the way back to sunny Northern Ireland for the 12th, at least I know next year to just pop down to the town centre! Looks like a great parade with everyone having a great time, just how it should be! :)
