  • At least she went down gently, only minor damage to both bike a pride.... Crashing sucks!

  • Were you running stock tires? My Suzuki Sv came with Dunlop D220's that are shocking! I lost the front end coming off a roundabout, luckily it dug in and gripped as the wheel tucked under but prompted me to go and purchase some Bridgestone Bt-023's....and R&G crash protectors!

  • Ahh thats so gutting, at least it looks like you got away with just minor cosmetics. what made you crash? looked like you hit a patch of gravel or something loose on the road.

  • @urbanfireblade Yeah, those were just minor scratches!! Yup, unfortunately i crashed pretty badly a couple of weeks ago and all the left side plastics are broken/scratched, my handlebars are distorted and i'm missing both levers....I'm just going to repair the strict necessary and put some cash away to maybe repaint it next summer. It's just so sad seing it in these poor conditions!

  • <3 haha! lowside crashes blow. your leg hurts badly after ha i got a cramp right after and tore up my kneee when i crashed a cbr so stupid wasnt mine either :/ . but im glad you got up right away :)

  • Was that in Luxembourg ?

Glad to see the damage was no more serious. ATGATT !

  • @Vegedurden haha no Luxembourg hasn't got roads as good as these ;) yeah im happy oo it was only superficial and yeah without gear it would probably have hurt!

  • Sweet vid dude. Love the bike. And I compliment you for getting the knee down while going home. Thats manning up to the challenge. Nice!!!

  • @SMSBJM1981 yeah i really like it too, thanks! Haha i had to do it, i would have been terribly pissed if i would have gotten home not putting a knee down.. :p

  • That sucks man but thankfully it's not too bad. Glad to see that you are ok, good on you for wearing gear, stay safe!

  • @Motasaikuru yeah indeed, in the end it's like nothing happened. I am realising every day more how important gear is...!

  • Awww hell :( what a shame man! Those things happen though, sadly. Glad you're wearing proper gear, are you going to repaint and repair the damaged parts?

  • @Mysticismer I know, i know :( No repainting is soooo expensive, i was shocked when my friend told me the price....and considering i will probably crash the bike a couple more times i wont do it lol. What i really want to do though is repaint the rims in another colour!

  • Awesome angles.. great video... sorry to see your girl go down but at least you got back in the saddle. Looked like a great ride... and I agree, ALWAYS wear your gear!

  • @DoctaM3 Thanks alot! yeah that's the most important thing, and the ride was great, the roads back here are truly amazing. Yup, safety first!

  • youre a shit! lol

I thought it was going to be way worse. Awesome footage btw.

It could have been way worseby far. I'm very glad to see it was a low speed lay-down and that your alright. Practice makes perfect, right?

  • @rynoride hahaha sorry, well im glad it wasnt worse ;) Thanks!

Yeah it does, i would prefer getting better without dropping it though :p

  • Noooooooo

This Sux , One thing I must say is Big thumbs up for the Gear , Glad to see you got right back on your own and rode even harder. you are not a bad rider you just made a mistake that is all .besides my riding videos showing "Mad Skills" I too have dropped my bike taking a left turn at very low speed trying to avoid sand .

Low Speed ,wrong body positioning ,a day at the track or advanced riding course will boost your confidence .

Wear Your Gear and Ride Safe .

  • @LiterR1 yeah i was really forcing myself to get back into the rythm, crashes often makes you lose all your confidence and i didn't want that to happen!

i definately plan on doing riding courses and trackdays. most probably i will take one during the summer holidays. I really want to improve my riding and avoid doing this kind of stuff again! I'll also consider buying framesliders to prevent the bike from being further damaged!

    Anyways thanks for the advice

  • Glad you're okay, what went wrong??

  • @Nickiller6969 too much weight on the inside and i wasn't smooth enough in the curve :/ will do better next time :P

  • Not being a competent rider yet I may be completely wrong here, but were you leaning slightly too much for the pace of that corner? You seemed to be going quite slowly and still losing speed while leaning a fair bit. Maybe not. Glad you're ok in any case m8.

  • @YarekBalear My leaning was okay, i just had too much weight on the inside of the curve and i accelerated not really smoothly when i came out of the curve. The problem about my restricted bike is that the acceleration isn't smooth at all, because it has a restriction on the accelerator.

  • @DaNiHoRuS Yes that's for sure! Health is the most important thing

  • Amen to the gear.

There are no riders who dont fall. Only those who already fell and those who will.

Actually i prefer riding on slower roads and in tighter curves. if you fall there it is not so fast. Pretty much like happened to you. Well, neither bike, nor you had to go to the service. so this was good one.

  • @Tugar747 Yes, i must say i am very thankfull for my gear!!! I almost never go out for a ride without my full gear on. I like both kind of roads, but i must say this one is more forgiving for sure!!

Yes in the end i was glad i was doing fine and my bike was working as it should. I think i'm going to do some riding courses, because i feel like i could need some advice, and i dont want to crash too often either :p

  • glad your ok and the bike only has a few scratches, it could have been a lot worse. Any thoughts on why it ended up sliding out?

  • @WildBill1006 I think it was partially my fault, i had to much weight into the curve and there was a bit of gravel, those roads aren't in fantastic conditions. But if i would have had more experience and technique it wouldn't have happened

  • You look pretty comfortable on that motorcycle. Are you practically sitting straight up? I don't know how the riding position is on those bikes.

  • @ToastToGo Yes, it's the main thing i don't like about this bike, especially because i'm pretty tall i always have to lean a bit forward to not look ridiculous. But it's not that comfortable, the handlebars are almost like a naked bike, the only thing is that they have a strange curvature.
