My guess is you should supplement these bars with other wild edibles you find like grasses, roots, chutes, berries, and celery. You can't be completely dependent on them but I believe they put gluten and other powdered fibers in them.

just curious....when you put these rations in a backpack for a long time,etc..does it "crumble up" eventually like cookies or does it keep its shape?

What happens if you ate these for a very very long time, say months? Would you grow sick? Would your body react to the lack of fiber?
