@weimi05 - Hi Adam - no problem at all! I made the cab from brass sheet. If you go to my website shown at the end of every film (I can't write it here as it gets blocked) then click on MY RAILWAY at the top right. You will see Edrig's Tender in the drop down menu and there are the scans of the article I wrote for Garden Rail magazine. The cab is explained in there.
Great loco. Where has the gas tank been moved to? It is normally in the tanks, Right? I'm thinking about doing something similar with a Ragleth power unit, the location of the Gas tank is making me think twice about it. Was it easy enough to move? Thanks.
@CFRailway - Thanks for the comment - this loco is still a favourite here! You can read about the construction and the gas tank move on my website (see closing credits). Go to the button MY RAILWAY and select Edrig's Tender 1 from the drop down. There is a scan of my Garden Rail article there. The disadvantage of this conversion is that there is nowhere to put a reverser servo. If you made the cab with short side tanks, the gas tank would fit and the servo would fit in the other.
@Summerlandsteam Thanks for the reply, I will have a look at that. I've been on your site before looking at the chuff pipes. At my railway that is open to the public every weekend at rothley station on the great central, Several of our team have fitted them to there locos and I think it is about time to do the same to my Silver Lady. (But I will have to buy that after the new engine!!) Thanks for the info!
@KVSRmanager - Thanks for the comment! Yes indeed it is an Edrig with the tanks used to make the tender top. The full story is on my website (see closing credit) - look for "My Railway" and the Garden Rail scan is in the menu.
@Llanwellyn - Thanks for the comment! The paint is Phoenix Precision P30 LMS Crimson Lake used from aerosols (with difficulty!). The full story is on my website (see closing credit) - look for "My Railway" and the Garden Rail scan is in the menu.
I know by now you a little bored of me asking all the time but where did you get the cab for edrig thanks adam

Superb Chris, that engine is really growing on me! Maybe I'll do a similar thing with my Edrig some day.
