I love this live version of " It's My Life" almost as much as the live one in Montreaux ..Mark Hollis has such great stage presence and just watching him in this video makes me want to get up and dance around..No Doubt does not even compare with their cover of it and I like No Doubt a lot.. The drummer also really shows his passion for their music in all of the live shows I have seen .. Just magical..
I just watched the live 1986 Montreaux version of this song, and, while they are both superb, this one seems to be much more animated. It's like 93 octane vs. 89 octane. Either one will get you where you want to go, but I like 93 octane better. But, considering that 2 tears had passed, playing that song time after time in front of screaming crowds, I guess it figures.

Why is Mark Hollis beating the crap out of that poor guitar? He sure as hell isn't playing it.

Brilliant - one of the bass strings is hilariously out of tune, but brilliant anyway!
