Oh sorry, my bad. See when I wrote that comment you replied to there was absolutely no news of the sims 3 unleashed that's why I said there's no reason to be whining over pets when there are already so many cool expansion packs. The sims 3 pets were bound to be released eventually and what I meant was that we should enjoy the expansion packs we already have. But now that I've actually read about The Sims 3 unleashed I really can't wait. =)

Its going to be interesting to see how this game is. To me, the thought of having you play multiple sims all at once kind of ruins the point of the sims. Every sim before this was based on making a unique character and living out their lives. They could get other sims along the way, but it was not necessary and it wouldn't take away from the some what of a bond you have with the initial character. This decision could be ok if done well, but may also be catastrophic.

You can have kids, but they only have two age levels....infant and child. After that they stop ageing and you cant control them or your spouce, but the child will be like an apprentice to your hero. I kinda dont like this direction with the family cause I was hoping that when my king died that my son would take his place to rule the kingdom and I'd have generations of kings and queens that fallow in the place of my first monarch....but wateve games still looks awsome and i cant wait to get it!!!

Why are you people going crazy over pets? Sure, they were fun but the sims aren't just about pets. Look at all the cool expansion packs we already have. So maybe we don't have a cat running around our sims living room, but we can travel to China or Paris, so maybe we don't have a dog digging holes in our sims so amazing garden and annoying us, but we can finally play our sims jobs (everyone asked for that, before). We can be a celebrity and now a king. What are you people whining about?

First of all, I love sims.

Secondly, people actually have to watch the videos to have an opinion about it, they could be looking for an improved version of the game, one that actually matches their likings, if it doesn't they are going to complain.
