switching polarity on a sub will not damage a it , its like hitting the phase button on your amp , if your subs are out of phase it could possibly cause damage from flex but no more damage then playing your subs free air !

you dont even know what your saying. They are in seperate chambers... These subs are dual voice coil. one one sub the polarity is changed on both coils. Nothings actually working against each other. For that to happen, they would have to be compressing the same air...

You know what, I Love it. Nothing beats JL Audio to me. But If you can Get a true 3000 Watts rms over 500watts rms for the same price. GET THIS AMP! Its pretty rare, u need to scope out the deals. i paid less than 300 for mine brand new. That was the best purchase i ever made. Really though the subs are underpowered yet i thinkbut damn good amp
subs just always seem so much louder when there rear facing in a trunk... but in my case the trunk has absolutely no room a lot of the space is taken up for the top to go down... and obviously I wasnt exactly looking for super high spl considering all the flex you get with the convertible top. If its even up!
I have JL 10w7s I was looking for more surface area considering your moving the air right next to you and there not in a trunk. The bass disapates quickly with the top up or down.

get rid of the capactior and put a 2nd battery a yellow top d34 in yoru trunk and get a battery isolator. capacitors are bad.
