This one time I went to Scotland. It rained non-stop and was freezing cold. Everyone is overweight and has false teeth. All the men are transvestites and the women look like men. I was attacked by a swarm of midges and thrown out of a pub for saying that the Loch Ness monster didn't exist. Everyone is constantly drunk and there is a very high level of MS due to the horrible weather. I couldn't sleep at night due to the constant bagpipe noise. I am never going back.
if love had one thing to say ever in life to its pure end... this will say it.. i never seen love so pure and the fact is history will say its a true story... we all should want to be so blessed
Hello, friend! very good your video parabens beautiful, beautiful music took a fantastic (10 )********** star to shine with you, that wonderful gift from you to this friendly and shine fantastico parabens. Big hug and be with God so that he continues his illuminating thoughts. Att ... Youth
I have never come away from watching this scene without tears rolling down my cheeks. Never. Probably the single most touching moment ever captured on film.
@zlc50 Same here...I'm a hardened soldier and a war Vet but this pokes my weak spot every time...I guess its because in this scene we see childhood innocence and pure, unconditional love...Along with Horner's music. Greetings, from Canada.
@sofman7 No, I'm originaly from north-west New-Brunswick, now live at CFB Valcatier (Québec City). I used to be in the Reserve in the 90's and went several times to Nova-Scotia (Camp Aldershot, close to Kentville in the Annapolis Valley).
This scene is the most amazing scene I've ever seen in a film. Words cannot describe what I felt the first time I watched this movie. It brought me to tears.
Thinking about this truly makes me sad. The English killed his father and his true love. That will bring the ultimate courage out of anyone to retaliate and fight back with everything he has. Unfortunately for the English, they did it to the wrong person, because William Wallace was a natural-born leader and one of the greatest knights that had ever lived.
This movie marked my life, i watched this movie first time with 10 year old. Great movie, but it's a shame that it has a lot of historic error, in Stirlings battle it was a bridge, and in the movie there is no bridge.
@Boifeicasempre I agree there having the Battle of Stirling Bridge without the bridge is like having the Wooden Horse of Troy without a wooden horse :-)
I am so touch to see the little girl pick up the thistle to give the liittle boy to offset the death of his father. I love this action, it is wild and touch together great music was display by whistle
I’ve never seen a moment that defines someone in such a vivid yet vague manner. Its remarkable what happens in just these few seconds. This is the moment his life truly starts. The thistle represents everything he would ever live for…..the thistle leads him to love, which leads him to this undying courage, which leads him to his triumph that ultimately takes him to his dignified death. I believe we all have these moments but they are impossible to capture, they just happen.
@bejaranob1 My father passed away when i was in this age, now im 27 and since dan im fighting not a physical fight but psychological fight with jelouse/bad/devil ppl every single day they alwayz want to put me down but i will never stop fighting, and i wish to die like him at the end with courage and honnor bcz im brave not a coward like them...
@bejaranob1 I lost my father when i was in this age, i cried when i saw this scene, and i hv seen many pain in my life and iam still facing the toughest days, so i want to be brave and i want to fight till my last drop of blood and i want to die like him with courage, bcz i have a brave heart not a weak heart like many many pepole nowadayz u see, cowards
@AFgGenius So be it William Wallace was NO coward but I dont think being Hanged drawn @ quatered was a fate to be scoffed at he sure was Brave a Warrior of the Celts who were strong and a force to be reckoned with.. The English were bastards! some things dont change! But England is being lost to Mixed race and we those of us who live in ENGLAND ARE BEING FORCED and losing our identity.... how ironic!
Give it 50 yrs and there will be No Britain we will all be European! The Greats have gone!
@bejaranob1 so true.. there's such a depth to this scene and to exactly what you said. Those moments that are there and then gone in a blink of an eye. They can be so short, yet so defining. Powerful scene and well said my friend.
this scene touches everyone who watches it. We have all lost someone who is close to us... but we realize that there is still beauty in this world and we must press on regardless of our losses. I think that this scene is what is represented, regardless of age.
This movie is just about as close to perfection as its humanly possible...its one of those movies that change you,..a movie after which you just stare into the screen with wet eyes until the credits are over....
