  • Hey bro how did u mount the intercooler build looks nasty

  • @jdm4life89 sectioned the bumper and welded in some angle iron.

  • what kind of intercooler is that? i love that size lol fucking BEAST...

  • @Jaran911 Home made 12x32x3

  • u running stock sleeves or did you resleeve the block? i know the H22 can handle a bit but dont know about throwing like 8-10psi at it thats all I want to do when i swap my f22 out for a H22

  • @97gstluv GE Sleeves.

  • that looks nice. i dont like H motors but i will like to have that one. nice job davez31

  • @alex52184 thanks alex

  • tha is the ugliest shit i've ever seen.. dude your radiator is retarded! haha

its like this giant chunk of metal hanging on the front. Thats some hack ass chinese bullshit

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo haha this guy says that big metal in the front is a retarded radiator. how retarded! =/

  • @cd7tun3r Just a stupid asshole kid i guess...

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo Its an intercooler you stupid fuck. It cools the air in the charge pipe. It hides behind the bumper cover. Learn what your talking about before you make negative comments you dumbass.

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo Lmao,Serious fail on the fail wagon bro,Please dont type ever again.

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo have you ever heared of a turbo intercooler dumb shit???!

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo you fuckin idiot hahah

  • @ThirdRomeAquilo OMFG YOU FUCKING SERIOUS. IM A SHOVE YOUR KEYBOARD UP YOUR ASS SO YOU CANT POST DUMBASS COMMENTS LIKE THAT.

  • Man that is sick waiting for mine to be done

  • Favorite Prelude model, but the H22 has a weak block. Why not just get a B18(c) or K20?

  • B18 is to small of a motor. K20 or 24 isnt worth the money. I have Golden eagle Sleeves, eagle rods, and JE pistons. Believe me, my bottom end is strong.

  • @davez31turbo I'm talking about the block metal. Did you re-sleeve?

  • @mentor2506 if you read what i wrote i said i have golden eagle sleeves. and the only weakness thats well known for h22 are the 10.5:1 piston ring lands.

  • @davez31turbo I was just asking. I've seen plenty of dead H22 turbo motors b/c of heat issues. I was only wondering how the block was holding up in terms of integrity and tensile strength. Nevermind

  • @mentor2506 ive had no issues, its been almost 3 years now on this build and its seen alot of rev limit.

  • do you find you get much piston slap when cold? What about when warm, any noise at all? Think I can hear some when you start it but its not that bad.

  • @roflex2 actually the motor its self runs quiet. this videos pretty old. The only ticking i get is from the 750cc injector pulse.

  • nice

  • like the intercooler

  • thanks, i took no offence. =) old video though...

  • and i dont like how crx and civic's look, lol

  • Good job! It always feels good to do your own work. Not all kits are bad tho. Just gotta go with a reputable company. I actually pieced mine together & did slight modifications. So is everything hooked up now?

  • yea, this was like 2 years ago =)

  • O. lol. didnt even look at the date.

  • that intercooler is beast

  • hey man,

how tight was that to fit a frount mount?

wanna do that to my own lude but heard its really tight seeing the h series is so big leaving not much room

nice build man that looks amazing

  • just section the bumper for the intercooler and fab a bracket across. um, theres plenty of room for the turbo if you run a dual core civic half radiator.

  • thats the biggest innercooler ive ever seen lol. damn i miss my lude. keep up the good work.

  • Should be sick!

  • Lovely build!

  • Thank you!!!

  • pretty sure h and f series have the loudest starters... i dont see how people can steal ludes and accords, starting them wakes up half the block.

  • and C series too. my v6 accord has that same distinct start up noise hah.

  • lol

  • haha, i think the next thing you need to worry about is traction, thats going to be a bitch

  • Nitto NT01 DOT slicks daily

  • hey bro big RESPECT 2 YOU with the PRELUDE can you give me your list of parts i want 2 do the same thing 2 mine thanks bro

  • Damn, that intercooler is almost as big as my nuts.

Don't you think that's a bit overkill? You're losing major velocity from that monstrosity. You'd be much better off with a CO2 sprayer and a normal sized rack.

  • losing major velocity? its big to keep my intake air temps down cause i am pushing alot of air and when i run more boost later on i wont have to upgrade because my intercooler will always be sufficent. why have a pussy intercooler that blows warm air into your intake unless your spraying CO2? how about i keep the same size and get a spray kit for the track? lol, i love you!

  • turbos r for rookies? lmfao!!! hahahaha..

turbos r for people that wanna win a race n not eat dust...like ur self

    also ur poor

  • He said turbo KITS are for rookies, and not only that, the majority of kits you buy are made from the cheapest nastiest shit you could lay your hands on. Custom built kit with well made components is the way forward.

  • thank you for clearing that up dlongmu. i guess some people dont know how to read.

  • why do you don't take a turbo kit?

  • turbo kit is for a rookie. I made everything the way i wanted it. and its cheaper. i am a fabricator, its what i do.

  • suck up little kids and nieghborhood dogs with that intercooler, nice build

  • such a large intercooler, why?

  • I was thinking the same but then this person is dumb enough to soup up an FF vehicle.

  • you cant be anymore stupid. why not? its all in fun... I also have an 85' 300zx with a skyline r33 rb25det. go in my channel and look at myspace kid...

  • whats the torque steer like on this beast?

  • hehe, both hands on the wheel between shift's

  • pretty cool

  • nice...i only got H22A inside my CB3....nice ride...

  • Great job man see ya at the track ;D

  • are you kidding me juggy? you just saw a video that proved that theory wrong..if you dont know that much about cars, dont even think about putting a turbo on it because you'll end up with shit. what's the point in a turbo if the IC piping doesnt go to the IM?

  • in the video i stated... "the pipes didnt come in the mail yet"

  • a friend informed me that vtec doesn't work alongside the turbo. can somebody help with the info. cuz i have a jdm h22 that i want to swap in from a h23. yet i would keep the h23 if its true..

  • boosted vtec rocks your socks

  • A properly built boosted h22 will rock your socks.

  • no, properly tuned.

  • eBay special, lol

  • hey what hondata did you use?

  • S300

  • the car looks and sounds nice to me good job very nice look'in motor i have a prelude but its not running right now i have my work cut out for me

  • yea!!! Its a fun car, I just wish it was rear wheel drive!

  • You can make it rear wheel drive, but after putting that kind of work into it before, i would suggest not. looks and sounds great. maybe get a 240sx as a drift/fun car?

  • stock cam gears?

  • Skunk 2 adj. cam gears

  • uhm yea how are you cooling the car with no intercooler piping there buddy?

  • uhm yea its just idling buddy, no worry's; and btw you cool the "car" with the radiator the intercooler is for the "turbo" haha

  • lmfao

  • You can turbo an h22 just fine on a stock block. Just get a good tune and you'll be fine. There are plenty of stock boosted h22 making 300+whp and they have lasted over a year like that.

  • i already went the rout the first time. its dumb. why waste your time on a ticking time bomb when you can just build it and run alot of boost.

  • Because it cost a ton more money that way. If you do it right the first time on a stock block then it will be just fine on a stock block. I would have to say you didnt do something right the first time.

  • You need money to build cars in the first place, and if your tryin to do it the cheep way, it'll break, why run 4psi? when your can build it and run 11psi or more? and you wont have to worry about it breaking cuz w/ a stock block it really is only a matter of time till it breaks.

  • Its not cheap. Its called a budget. Listen I know what I'm talking about. I've searched this stuff for a year before I even started buying parts for my prelude. Oh and its not about psi. If you knew anything you would know that at least. Its about hp. Hp is what stresses the motor. The engine can only produce so much power before it fails. Also there are guys I know running 10 psi on their stock block h22 and they are running great. 11.1 compression too. Its the h22a euro engine.

  • smartin up, stock h22 pistons are weak. we'll see when your car is done. otherwise dont talk so cocky. lets see how long then ring lands last with some boost. i built this motor myself from the block up. i know the do's and dont's.

  • By no means was I trying to sound cocky. I respect what you've done with your car. I just know that if you put together a quality kit, and a good tune, and maintain your car well, it is just as reliable as stock. It just needs to be monitored more. The pistons is not the weak point. Its the ringlands like you mentioned.

  • What kind of turbo are you running and what engine management? Do you have any dyno pulls yet?

  • Its a Garrett T3/T04 .60trim .82ar turbo running hondata s300 ecu management. No dyno yet. educated guess on horse power 380whp. =]

  • Is that a Megan Racing muffler? I love mine.

  • nice prelude dude, hey what turbo kit is that, i have a h22 prelude too and i was thinking bout turboing it

  • its not a turbo kit. i know what i wanted to i bought it all at different times. it costs more to buy it as a kit... i guess you can call it the pescatello kit, lol thanks for the comment.

  • oh yea... dont turbo your h22 until you build the lower and and lower the compression... or it will go boom. believe me i know ;-)
