Fascinating. What is the general consensus on the use of ICF (insulated concrete forms) as a building technique? You know... those hollow EPS (expanded polystyrene) blocks that you pour concrete into after stacking them.
EPS is plastic (bad), but don't use HFCs (hydrofluorocarbons) in their manufacture. Concrete is pretty close to the original material and may use fewer resources than wood. Plus I'll bet the walls would survive even a force-5 tornado.
