I just began stock trading within the last month....and I have gone back, watched almost all of your videos, learned so much, and are starting to turn some profits. So...thanks for all you do. Anyways, I personally would love to have some swing trading videos. Your videos give insight and wisdom from experience, especially they way you describe everything in terms I understand and can learn from. I still use Lightspeed (Steve) and recommend it. Using my Schwab account for Swing trading since they slashed their rates lol.

one type of algorithm that i am familiar is that is used for arbitrage gain..orders are routed to over 10 - 15 exchanges all over the world to such in pennys.

HFTs use available data from the market, input to the model that calibrates to make decisions to enter/exit. They are basically very short term momentum "traders", based on time frames - ticks, minutes to ..days. They were conceived to removed human emotion out of trading...

They just got whole lot better recently !

I started day trading full time abut 11 years ago and pretty much learned on my on thru thousands of hours of screen time and firing off trade after trade. Books and classrooms are good but there is nothing like having skin in the game when it comes to really learning. Trading is 90% emotions and that's hard to teach in a book.
