If a brahmin rejects others tendering, even since suspicion of unacceptable food, say beef or whatever, all atheist, communist, christians, muslims, SC/STs MBCs, BCs all will torture that brahmin.
Basically, it is an unequal relationship. Muslims and Christians expect others to tolerate and respect their religion, but they feel no compulsion to reciprocate. The lesson for Hindus is to remember that we should never tolerate or respect those who will not respect us.
