This is one of my favorite songs from Shane's EP. It sounds beautiful on the piano, your playing and arrangement really bring out the underlying emotions in the song.  Very well done.

@micknash Thank you for that very nice comment. I was insecure about the arrangement, because I couldnt capture the light feeling of the original. Eventually I chose a simple arrangement that does not disturb the words.

Very nice! Adding to the discussion about age, I would like to suggest that the key to true happiness with regard to age may be to just be content with where you are. A lot of young people waste time wishing they were old, as do old people wishing they were young . . .

@yt3141 As we all can´t change our age we have to do the best at every age. As a kid I always wanted to be older and I never really enjoyed the good things about being a kid. Now I know I should have enjoyed myself more. Being 16 again is a nice wish, but honestly: school again? No way, hahaha !

A sweet song, but—sixteen is too early. Being a kid sucks. But of course, Shane doesn't understand that yet. If I had to pick an age to be forever, I'd go for 30 or 35.

@GibsonAndVega I agree. Being 16 "forever and ever" wouldn´t be very cool. But being a kid sometimes would be nice. My favourite age to pick to be forever would be 25. But I think Shane does understand a lot.

@Nightyyou As far as many of the positive aspects of being a kid are concerned, "being a kid sometimes" is still possible at any age. Too many adults forget that. The human soul grows like a tree. New growth is added to the outside, but what was there before always remains on the inside.
