I just bought some steel front brake lines and I'm gonna get some EBC or vesrah HH pads for the front and rear. I have had any suspension work done other than the damper, but I was planning on getting they guy at the track to set up my suspension one morning and keep coming back as the day wears on. Just like you suggested. Oh I grabbed some dunlop Q2s for the track. The reviews on those tires were good for beginners so I think they'll work for me. Is there anything else you suggest?
Chiefsmoke im running a 01 R6 ill be doing a lot of track days down thunderbolt and lightning. I have a damper and full exhaust. What other mods should i make before i get there? Thanks
@PresidentHudson Have you done any braking mods and do you have your suspension setup? Good fresh tires like a power pure are also a nice bonus.
You're on the brakes for like 25% of the track!! And if you don't have the suspension setup by a professional (rebound, sag, and preload) get that done in advance. I goto washington cycle works for all my suspension work. Otherwise, get it done 1st thing in the morning at the track so you can keep working on it during the day.
Thunderbolt is an awesome course. Its layout is easy and fast. Good vid!

Before worrying about mods, I would more attention on riding the track properly and hitting those lines
