Reading small print can lead to eye strain. Visit your optometrist regularly. And for that matter, don't forget to go to the dentist every 6 months. If not you might get cavities or gingivitis, or some nasty gum disease. As for me, I've got a toothache right now that's been killing me, so don't make the mistake I did. See a dentist! (And try using mothwash now & then, okay?) And remember to brush after every meal, and floss once a day.
@odigonX This is NOT the Full version of this ending, there's about a couple of seconds extra where the Warners wonder if they left their microphones on, therefore making their entire conversation be heard, and hence the "Uh Oh"
Incredible how other animation companies forget shows like Animaniacs aren't suppose to be taken seriously. And yet they often rip on themselves too. Talk about a double standard.
If I remember the show, they said "is the mic still on, oh oh!" Either say, it's still one of the best bits the Animaniacs did for the show, always funny.
@broadwaykid176 oh yeah. Knowing them they're probely at the guy who posted this' house, I can just see it now. LorenIbsen, the siblings new special friend.
@broadwaykid176 Once, back when the show was first airing, there were a bunch of comments floating around (primarily from ardent Disney Afternoon fans) to the effect they didn't like the 'fourth wall' stuff where the characters talk directly to the audience or do stuff like this bit here. I think they all needed to get laid. (more...)
@WolfBrat (cont...) Anyway, one comment that made the animation mags was from the co-creator of "Eek! The Cat" and a few other things - Bill Kopp - who said he hated characters like Yakko, Wakko and Dot for their habit of "winking at the camera" (i.e. fourth wall, talking to the audience etc.) - which is something a lot of the heavy-duty Disney fans also said, along with the comment that they didn't like the sarcasm etc. of the Warner sibs. Again, tooooo uptight for their own good.
@WolfBrat: Funny you say that because I LIKED BOTH the Kid's WB AND TDA for what they each had to offer & BOTH of the blocks were DAMN AS HELL entertaining. NOT unlike the crap we get now, a very, very small selection excepting.
@TherealRNO I loved "Tale Spin" from TDA (still do), though Rescue Rangers and Darkwing etc. didn't pat my particular cat. Had a lot of friends who were very into both, though.
1:54 "Reading small print can lead to eye strain. Visit your optometrist regularly. And for that matter, don't forget to go to the dentist at least every six months. (And try using some mouth wash now & then, okay?) And remember t after every meal, and floss once a day."
@xolovemexhatemexo: Funny that, as The Animaniacs Bible originally had proto-Doto as the girlfriend of Wakky (precursor to Wakko [Wakky merged with Smacky]), not unlike predecessors Foxy & Roxy with Yakko in the Goopy Geer role, even though Foxy & Roxy with Goopy Geer WERE the Warner answer to Mickey & Minnie with Goofy by Disney, just like Bosko & Honey--the first ever Warner characters--were essentially an ear-less Oswald the Rabbit & his girl (Oswald predated Mickey as Walt's first creation).
@xolovemexhatemexo: Yeah. My point is that Tress voices Hello Nurse, Dot Warner, Babs Bunny, and a slew of others, not unlike how Kath Soucie voices Sally and N.I.C.O.L.E (Sonic SatAM), Phil & Lil and mom Betty (Rugrats and All Grown Up), Muriel (Courage the Cowardly Dog), Kanga (Winnie the Pooh films from "The Search of Christopher Robin" on through to "The Heffalump Movie" [the new 2011 film has someone else]), Fifi Le Flume (Tiny Toons and Animaniacs), and others.
When I think about this show, I wanna ask my friends if they know these little guys, and they look at mee and ask, "What? Who are they?" I drop my mouth and inside my head I'm thinking how they are just a bunch of know-nothing losers. I ask, "YOU HAVE NO I DEA WHO THEY ARE!??!" I wanna slap my friends SO freaking hard. I want them to put it back on Nick, even though I don't like Nickelodeon anymore. But I will if they decide to put The Animaniacs back on.
@lovepuppy135: Nick does NOT own this series. WARNER BROS. does, naturally. Just like Disney's Jetix block on Toon Disney aired Batman and Pinky & the Brain in later years, Nick aired Animaniacs once the show ended its long-time syndicated run on its parent network, Kid's WB, due to the success of anime like Pokemon, just before Kid's WB was gutted & KILLED, replaced by The CW & programing done by 4Kids (the chief American anime dubbing studio).
@lovepuppy135: Umm...NO it wasn't. It debuted in the early 90's on FOX while Kid's WB was being built. Then, when it came around (as The WB daily & as Kid's WB each Saturday), Animaniacs came to its parent network, Kid's WB (because WARNER BROS. created and officially owns the franchise). It stayed there for MANY years (i.e. through tne ENTIRE 90's DECADE). It wasn't until the mid-2000's that Warner ALLOWED Nick to license the show, just like Disney's Jetix did with Pinky & the Brain.
@lovepuppy135: So what? You watching it on Nick PROVES that you're young. Most older fans watched it either when it debuted on FOX or in its entirety on Kid's WB, BEFORE it jumped to Nick (and in Nick's case, they BUTCHERED the opening, but shortening it to less than 30 seconds, plastering their logo everywhere, making the singing voices higher-pitched, and getting rid of most variable verses [by super-imposing Dot saying "Nickel-ainy" over what once was the "Shirely McClainy" variable verse]).
yah mostly EVERYONE was a kid when they watched this! they played re-runs on nickelodeon around 2005-2006! i know that they showed it on fox and kids WB. im notta retard. so go bother someone else with ur annoying facts.
@lovepuppy135: I KNOW they played reruns on CN--also owned by Warner--& then--via hacked up versions--on Nick, owned by Warner rival, Viacom. I am just saying that to claim that the show mostly aired on Nick when its LONGEST RUN was on its PARENT NETWORK (that being the WB) is not only false, it proves that you were stuck watching the version Nick super-imposed its logo over, when most people who actually grew up with in its prime watched it on FOX & Kid's WB.
I love this and does any one know where i can whatch full episodes of animaniacs exept for vbox7 or whatever its called because that one failed please help

Well Dot, it's true. The show's mostly about Yakko. I mean, he probably gets the most lines, and his jokes are funnier. I mean, he gets the most verbal comedy, while Wakko's is mostly, and yours is ... girly.
@shadaze64 Because they don't know that the mic is still on after the show ended and now EVERYONE can hear them complain about everyone connected with the show.
@historywiz1 Me too, but only if it was done by the original makers and cast, (if they're still breathing, naturally) if anyone else did it, they'd probably butcher it.
@immortalfrieza: They weren't. Even the theme song for that travesty states directly..."It's what the network wants, why bother to complain? Though Earth remains their goal, there's some things they can't control, life's stinky for Pinky & the Brain." It's part of why One Saturday Morning trumped Kid's WB in ratings around that time.
I wish they did this in EVERY episode! It's cool. Basically, all I've got on the Volume 1 DVD pack is quite boring, especially "Goodbye Nurse!" although I like the "Set three extra places-we're coming over for dinner!" But this beats that.
Reading small print can lead to eye strain. Visit your optmetrist regularly. And for that matter, don't forget to go to the dentist at least every six months. If not, you might get cavities or gingivitis or some nast gum disease. As for me, I've got a tootheache right now that's killing me, so don't make the mistake I did. See a dentist! (and try using some mouth wash now and then, okay?) and remember to brush after every meal and floss once a day.
On May11, 2010, we will bombard and I mean BOMBARD the warner company with letters to bring the Animaniacs back! And if that doesn't work, we'll do it on September13 and then November 14
For proof of what I am saying, see the Animaniacs! Beginning article (from Keeper's archives): w w w 2 . c r u z i o . com / ~ k e e p e r / a n i b e g . h t m l
Who thumbed down my comment? The idea I mentioned was an idea pitched during Animaniacs!' initial debut. Of course, Tom Ruegger has since posted that "in any and all different configurations and incarnations and drawings of the characters, from their inception, they were always siblings." But, prior to that statement, the character that would become Dot was assumed to be an unrelated character (and many fans believed this) before she became one of the core characters.
Funny!

why did they say aUh oh
shadaze64 1 year ago
@shadaze64 Because they don't know that the mic is still on after the show ended and now EVERYONE can hear them complain about everyone connected with the show.
historywiz1 1 year ago
@historywiz1 The clip was cut, they ask each other if they remembered to turn the mics off before the "Uh-Oh"

@Jeiwolf your right. That's what I thought.

@historywiz1 i kno its unfair its a good show
shadaze64 1 year ago
@historywiz1 Me too, but only if it was done by the original makers and cast, (if they're still breathing, naturally) if anyone else did it, they'd probably butcher it.

@immortalfrieza I totally argee with you!

@historywiz1 Don't forget Pinky and the Brain, same thing but without Elymra naturally (seriously, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING WITH THAT CRAP!?!).
immortalfrieza 1 year ago
@immortalfrieza: They weren't. Even the theme song for that travesty states directly..."It's what the network wants, why bother to complain? Though Earth remains their goal, there's some things they can't control, life's stinky for Pinky & the Brain." It's part of why One Saturday Morning trumped Kid's WB in ratings around that time.

I wish they did this in EVERY episode! It's cool. Basically, all I've got on the Volume 1 DVD pack is quite boring, especially "Goodbye Nurse!" although I like the "Set three extra places-we're coming over for dinner!" But this beats that.
jazzykid1 1 year ago
@jazzykid1 I agree. But I also like
Y: I'm Yakko
W: I'm Wakko
D: And I'm cute!
and "Aaah! there's a horrible bug on your shoulder! Aaahhh! Just kidding!" :)
God bless you!

This was just incredible. My favorite Animaniacs skit just for how different and clever it is.

This has been flagged as spam show
On May11, 2010, we will bombard and I mean BOMBARD the warner company with letters to bring the Animaniacs back! And if that doesn't work, we'll do it on September13 and then November 14

Is it just me or do they sound older?
TotalDramaIsland5500 2 years ago 9
TotalDrama: They are. Remember, Rob, Jess, and Tress are adults voicing seemingly ageless cartoon characters here.

I think they're supposed to.
