Amazing lack of quality in Porsche Cayenne...beware!!!.... I drove some puddles, 3/4 of the tires under water, mini vans and cheap Asian sedans drove through them, and they were okay.....but not my Cayenne...so if you are planning on buying one, make sure your drive it only in perfect roads, and most important....dry roads...buy a cheap Asian car in case it rains...jaja

Uhh... good looks. Honestly. Jeep started the fast.. lux/suv back in '98 with the 5.9 Limited GC.... with it's est' performance and aprx 500 bills of after market add-ons. If the Cayenne driver sneezes the Jeep will beat it. Let alone the SRT-8... Best thing about the Cayenne is it's off road ability.

Doesn't anyone else find the idea of this car kind of ridiculous? I mean, it isn't a real Porsche! It's got 4 doors, and the motor's in the wrong place. The 924/8, 944, and 968 were bad enough, but, at least they were proper sports cars. Leave the 4x4s to Rover and concentrate on REAR engined sports cars! It's what Porsche is best at.

Couldn't agree more. The Rover Sport, the Escalade, the X5, they're all pointless. They all fail in their intended roles, they aren't "sporty", because they're trucks, they can't do truck things, because they have no ground clearance. "Sporty" SUVs are a perfect example of the industry telling the people what they want, and the people buying in.

Motor journalists hated it from the begining but I can think of cars that are a hell of a lot worse to look at. That said, the front was never quite right, and I think the revised version looks worse than the original from the front, the lights are just too small.

But mine after a while needed continious maintenance. like coolant leaks, gear oil plugs leaks, eats up engine oil like gas, break disks replacement every 10,000 km! just needs an upgrade this car. and the new 2008 one STILL HAS BODY ROLL during hard cornering.

Well, I must say...they made it less odd. Almost pretty. Porsche should not have used their original sportcardesign for the SUV. It is recognisable, but it just doesn't work for me. If I want the Porsche-look I will buy the sportscar, not an SUV. Probably a great quality SUV... Nice for the familyman with some extra income and a preference for Porsche. I would like to see an innovative design from Porsche which doesn't remind you off the sportscar.

Just got the new turbo, exactly like the black 1 in the video except with the hazel interior. GT3 is cool, but cant go offroad and doesn't dominate the road like the cayenne turbo. Is awsome to drive up next to sum weenie in his little sportscar with this beast,it got such an awsome deep sound. Dont really care if he faster. Nyway, love porsches love the gt3 its jus impractical for me tho.
