@Eadinis I don't think so... I don't think God, the fictional charector was helpful to my life. Whatever in my life I learned and earned by myself with the help of science... No Gods helped me. Science fake things.. never.. only different ideas came in.. Charles Darwin. proposed theory of Evolution.. later different people... researched and found more information and added. to the theory.. but they haven't denied Evolution.. and Bigbang... But we can easily say No God.. Simple Theory... E=MC2...

@rurukoshyv Just accepting that star dust mixed with hydrogen and oxygen molecules at the right temperature evolved into rational beings that can be lonely and depressed, or happy and excited about sports games that uncreated evolved matter turned into on its own is too easy. If thinking hurts your brain then maybe thats a good avenue of thought for you. But evolved, soulless matter, evolving to a level that recognizes its own nakedness and names all of the beasts it finds? No help from science

@mikelunz I don't think science is depressive... Accepting evolution and bigbang are not going to be depressive... Science always brought light to humans... Medicine, advanced form of life, life expectancy...space exploration, capability to think. etc.. But religions and Gods always taught humans to rape, steel, murder, no equality... etc... Check out all the religious texts... you can find these...

Further more, if you note that in the Tanakh (Old Testament,) you find that violent demands were always due to the corruption created by human beings living without God. Lets look at God for a moment, because in the beginning, He was friends with humans, and there were no laws. What happened though? Humans began acting corrupt and selfish. God always forgave, but humans demanded corruption.

All that science looks for is for material evidence, but does not allow itself to look at metaphysical evidence simply out of choice. Unfortunately, I do not know where you heard that God has a beard and lives in the clouds, that is not in the Bible. So if you believe people who believe in God think there is a man with a beard in the clouds, you are not knowledgeable enough to speak out against God.

@Ometopada It is because you don't know why. Mother Mary is our Divine Mother that is why She cares for us She doesn't want us to go to Hell. She wants us to love Her Jesus so that we can go to Heaven and loving means obeying all the commandments of God. @nitojo7 I read the bible. I also read the short story of Qoran (just for more input and knowledge). Your comment remind me of the story of Lucifer (Bad angel). Firstly God told All angel to bow only to HIM. However, When God created man, He asked Angel to bow to him. Lucifer don't want to bow because he loved God too much and bow only to God. On the other hand, Lucifer is too proud to bow to man. God punish devil for his pride. (one of the 7 deadly sins).
