I hair like this and yes, it is the easiest hair to have. All I do is wash, condition and use some kind of defrizzing cream or mousse. After that, I let air dry it naturally and ta-da! I used to wish I had straight hair when I was younger, but I've grown to love it just the way it is. :)

ive been using deva curl now for almost a yr.n yea u cud use diff products that do the same thing.. but devacurls does it in a more sensitive smooth way... n u feel the change instantly...i just really gotta find out how not to mess it up ass much while i sleep..i would use deva curls forever if i cud ..n also meaningful beauty..off subject but still awesome

I'm a hairdresser and follow EVERY rule of "deva curls" with regards to cutting. And most of their rules with styling too...but the results can be achieved using "other" brands of products...and not having to use as much as they recommend. Unless you can afford $100 a month on hair products find moroccan oil products

I am new to curly hair. My hair started to become curly about 5 years ago. Today it is CURLY.!!!

I have never used DevaCurl prducts. I DO NOT understand How the hair can be cleansed of Silicone serums, smog and all other products without using shampoo. I have a hard time cleansing my hair clean WITH regular shampoo.

Does no poo TRULY make your hair clean???

@sxyblndeflirt thats why you are NOT ALLOWED TO USE SILICONES AND MINERAL OIL! haha srry just making it clear try suave nautrals or tresemme nautrals for a cheep silicone free conditioner

@sxyblndeflirt when i first started to use their no-poo shampoo my hair was oily and greasy but as soon as the hair starts to get used to it it produces less oil and its clean! it took about one week to get used to the routine

@sxyblndeflirt only sulfate shampoos can clean the hair of silicones or mineral oil because these substances are not water soluble. when using sulfate free cleansers, you cannot use these substances or they wont come off your hair and will build up. just by massaging a basic silicone free conditioner or cleanser into your scalp, you will remove the oil and dirt from your scalp. but all of your hair products must be free of mineral oil and any ingredient that ends in -cone -conol or -xane.

@sxyblndeflirt Before using a sulfate free cleanser, try doing a clarifying rinse with baking soda or apple cider vinegar (if you are blond) or rosemary tea (if you have dark hair). That'll remove the silicones etc. Then use only products free of silicones etc and yes, No Poo works, in fact One Condition works as a great cleanser on most days.

the steps don't seem like a lot when you love your hair and have accepted it. if you do the routine properly, you don't have to worry about your hair every single day, therefore making this easy and damage free.

Why does everyone love to say its just so easy and then they give you a long process I do this 2x weekly and it takes me about an hour maybe more. ( I have curly hair up to my elbows.
