I got my makeup done at napoleon for my formal and i put a primer on my face im guessing it was this one and the foundation she put on my face has oil in it and usually i dont get foundations with oil in it cus of my oily skin but the makeup stayed on beautifully! would this be the primer? and does napoleon have oil free foundations? please help because i love the colour of the foundation, its perfect for my skin tone. thankyou!
@xBeeecc It could be the primer... definitely! Head to your counter and ask the girls about the oil issue, I don’t work for napoleon so I may not be much help to you - but good luck! :) Amy
i love this primer too and i used it first a few years ago but dont waste your money, the face of australia face base primer is about a quarter of the price and EXACTLY the same. ingredient for ingredient. there identical and work exactly the same, deffinately try the cheaper one first.
@tafgan ohh yes I've tried that one too and yes the qualities to the products are very similar - same texture, smell. Also the natio one I think is very much the same. I've actually really got into using the Inglot primer as I now work there and I like the fact it's silicone based and is really good for my oily skin but it's good that there are a few different options out there.
Hey amy, that's so exciting about your Napoleon course! How long have you got to go? I tried the Napoleon primer a while back, but my current love is the Arbonne Virtual Illusion Makeup Primer ($48) - it's incredible! xo megs
The course sounds pretty comprehensive then! Are there a lot of contact hours?
I also use my primer in place of a moisturiser, never both - just gets too slippery and nothing stays put! The Arbonne one is awesome, definitey put it on your list for when the NP runs out =) I'll put NP on my list for after mine runs out!
This was a good review- Napoleon Perdis is sold where I live but its kinda expensive for me =/ But I love the review, and tune me in on your new makeup course!! So cool =D
I love the sound of this primer!!!!! Although I have really dry skin do u think it would help? I'm useing mac foundation. Would these two product go together?
I think that the primer would be fantastic for dryer skins.... because it is so nourishing and gentle on the skin and it practically evens out skin texture for make up application - I think it's very versatile in that it could adapt to different skin types and not be a hot mess haha to be blunt. :)
Hi Amy :) Your make up looks lovely in this video! I'm loving the bright colours on you. Do you mind if I ask what foundation you are using? You skin looks so dewy, healthy and fresh!
Yay! An Aussie :) I subbed, sub back and support the Aussie Youtubers :)

I think the dewyness actually comes from the primer teehee - but I use Revlon colourstay foundation in Buff for Combination/Oily Skin.
