I always went to church when I was younger but fell out of it. About a year ago, when my fiance and I met, I was still a broken soul. I went to the Community of Faith church that she attends and the band played this. It touched me and completely broke me to the point when I was on my knees. It gave me the courage to talk to the associate pastors and to get my life back on the right path. I thank God for my lady every morning for helping my soul find the place it needed to be!

I first heard this song at a youth convention, we sang it 3 times throughout the weekend and everytime i heard it, it became more and more meaningful to me. @ritafeiring well..it's exactly the opposite..the point is that people do not need a manual :) by having GOD in your life your dealing with life will be just as it has to be..and all this by default..no need for manuals and rules..you'll have everything you need in you..and all this by having GOD in your life..HE changes everything :) ask HIM sincerely to come into your life..you'll be surprised :)

@MrPhiltz77 Well said. The Bible is not a manual or rule book, but it does provide guidelines for how to live out one's faith in the God it is written about. Following these guidelines is in no way going to make you right with God - only faith in the all sufficient Savior, Jesus, can do that. After the promise of salvation by grace through faith, we are called to continually love the Lord God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. That makes guidelines quite useful.

The Word of God is critical. Sin wants us to pervert Christianity, it is the Word of God that keeps us true. We have no definition of truth, except for his word.
