  • You say dam you french but years before the war the UK sold sub machine guns to Argentina.

  • black10872 sadly those 5 exocetes did big damages, damn you French.

  • Ha, that tensimm person is funny. We're all doomed in the UK because Argentina has lots of steaks.

  • Fucking scumbag pirate Latino argies, never again will they set foot and harass British people

  • the falklands war was a diplomatic headache for the USA. Arginetina was USA's top ally in south america. millions of dollars worth of arms was given to arginetina before the war. and the french gave arginetina 5 exocete missiles. arginetina put an order to purchase much more exocetes. luckily for the brits those weapons never made it to arginetina. however, the brits completed an excellent campaign. brit commanders were at the top of their profession.

  • @black10872 Argentina*

  • In 60s Britain made huge mistake when they canceled CVA-01 carriers

  • Dunno what anyone else thinks.. but that british pilot 'sharkey' gave me the chills. Calm, composed, intelligent and coming to kick ass. No fear, no ego, just conviction of purpose. No romanticism, just getting the job done, respect.

  • @helpmeImbeing no ego? you need to read a bit more about him. As for the rest, I probably agree.

  • @bluemule179 (cont) Believe me, I'm not being ironic. And, really, it is painful to watch what is happening there. In the end, people like you and me should not argue each other. We should be friends because our common enemy are the Financial Elites that are causing all the wars, sufferings, injustices and all the tragedies that the world is facing. Those elites were handling the power besides the power in 1st world countries. But they are starting to loose their hands and letting them go.

  • @tenslmm Thanks for your support but pleased don't be worried by the actions of a few yobs, riots very destructive - but not the beginning of the end. I appreciate your comments re financial elites - but really the existence of these elites is systemic. If we don't want them in control of our countries we need to stop borrowing there money. It's a major problem with no easy answers.

  • @bluemuleii Yes, you are absolutely right. And furthermore, the problem are not only those financial elites, but also their local accomplices, in governments and media. For instance, the Kirchners as you well mentioned, they decided to pay foreign debt (that in our case it is even worse because it has a huge fraudulent origin during the military government) with resourses taken from pension funds. Imagine the measure of that complicity. (cont)

  • @tenslmm Thinking about it - it should really be very clearly understood that when governments and public companies borrow money it's potentially a form of corruption - it should be policed somehow?!?!?

  • @bluemuleii (cont) I think in the end what it is in crisis is the so called representative democratic system, wich many times ends up betraying the people, the voters. We should move to a more participate democratic system. Maybe what happend in Island could be a case of study. On the other end of that we have the sad and painful example of what happened in Argentina in the end of 2001.

Hope everything calms down there. Best wishes.

  • @tenslmm Agreed - doesn't matter which way you vote - they all end up with an executive directorship at the bank/multi national - its not only undermining democracy - but investment too. All these listed companies are run solely in the interests of the directors - the stockholders are rippedoff at every turn

The fall of Rome! Rotting from the inside

  • @tenslmm Political part fundraising has a lot to do with this I reckon (not just personal interest) How are political parties funded in argentina - Private money/unions or by the state?

  • @bluemule179 watching what is happening in London these days maybe you must re-adjust your deffinition of shit countries. I told you, you're future is really dark. This is just a small sample of what you will face. Anyway, opposite to what is going to happen to you, our food production resources and capabilities will make us be the Sammaritans of the World, collapsed by economic crisis and hunger. Despite of all your robberies of the past, we will have an open heart to receive you. (cont)

  • @tenslmm I notice that even de kirchner opted to commit to full repayment of (restructured debsts) in the end

  • malvinas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Eddieposted not to mention the US Navy said a military Re-taking of the islands was impossible...

  • @bluemule179 (cont) Your pirate robberies of the past won't help you in the dark future you are about to face.

  • @bluemule179, several years before the British invaded the islands, there were original settlers and a formal Governor of the region, designated by the Argentine goverment. Those lands were taken.

And if you still have some remainings of that gap in learning and ability you should use it to make your farmers profitable, instead of dependent of govmt' subsidies. Of course you may have cattle, but its way too expensive and little to match even your own needs. (cont)

  • @bluemule179 The people in the Falklands are British, in a foreign and stolen land, thousand of miles away of Europe, in line with your pirate history. That's how the world has been configurated in the last centuries. Enjoy it while it lasts, but more sooner than later that world will change, your economy will sink, and not only people in the Malvinas, but even you in Britain will be begging for food. We in Argentina will have you in our prayers and talks, while enjoying a big and juicy steak.

  • @bluemule179 Yeah today Argentina armed forces is joke

  • @bluemule179 Yes it vas if you compared those new carriers with can carry together 72 F-35 fighters

  • HMS Hermes only 12 harriers ?

    HMS Invicible 8 Harriers ?

  • Some day, when your spoiled litte island (I'm referring to Britain) sinks under the weight of debt and below the sea waters, las Malvinas will naturally come back to Argentine sovereignty. And maybe before that, you'll beg us to exchange them for food and water (wich we have in large quantities). Enjoy the last minutes of your falling empire system. The future is in South America. We´ll have charity and generosity, but we will still have good memory.

  • @tenslmm still got a chip on your shoulder after all these years.

  • @MrXclio , first of all, apollogies for my previous post. I let go my anger and it is a post that doesn´t help having a constructive discussion. But objectively you must admit that Britain is still commiting basic colonialism, backed by the UN, wich is nothing but an scandalous facade for the interests of the central countries. And believe me, the mid term future is really dark for Europe, so maybe you will end up offering the islands for free to us again, so as to stop loosing budget there.

  • @Eddieposted u have to read history mate. Because the first flag in the islands was from Argentine! Remember that u tried to invade Buenos Aires two times, and u lose!

  • 27:50 the scrap dealers were there in an absolutely LEGAL way. They´d got their white cards and they were dismanteling an old whale processing facility. This is one of the many incidents that were made up in order to tighten the already deteriorated relationship between both countries. In 1968 sovereignty transfer had almost been agreed, but people that had commercial interests in the islands lobbied and boicotted it, which for us was one more slap in the face. They've been doing this for ever.

  • Argentine and Britain go war for crappy inland ?

  • 1000 people had to die before justice was restored. Lets hope Argentina never tries it again and that the countries remain in peace.

But, if they ever try again, lets hope the UK still have guts to throw them out again.

  • @higfny I don´t think we have to try again. I think that the MALVINAS ISLANDS are ours because the first flag in the islands was ours! I believe that we will recover the islands peacefully! I don´t think war is the only option. We aren´t like you or USA, we don´t resolve ours conflicts whith guns killing inocent people! In that time all the countries in South America was under military tyranny supported by the money of USA, your friends... Argentina nunca caera! Nuestro orgullo esa intacto!

  • @Eddieposted never humiliate anyone not humiliated if they were soldiers in 1982 Howrah concriptos stick it profecionales trained British soldiers of the shit we had destroyed in 1982 aver

  • @Eddieposted lose in 82 were very close to winning I think we have q q back by military force is the only way q Let's liberate the islands from the British colony

  • @Eddieposted again if necessary by military force to liberate the Falkland Islands British colonialism and Argentine simpre again be what were English pirates

  • FALKLAND ISLANDS BRITISH ARE NEVER WERE ARGENTINAS usurped by BRITISH COLONY TO BECOME MILITARY FORCE IF NECESSARY TO COLLECT OUR FALKLAND ISLANDS

    MALVINAS ARGENTINA

  • @Eddieposted FALKLAND ISLANDS BRITISH ARE NEVER WERE ARGENTINAS usurped by BRITISH COLONY TO BECOME MILITARY FORCE IF NECESSARY TO COLLECT OUR FALKLAND ISLANDS

    MALVINAS ARGENTINA

  • FALKLAND ISLANDS AND THEIR SON ARGENTINAS CIRCUDANTES WATERS THROUGH HISTORY AND THAT ARE IN THE CONTINENTAL SHELF IN THE BONE ARGENTINA ARGENTINE SEA usurped by ENGLAND FOR OVER 150 YEARS

  • speak English if you want, but the Falklands are Argentine

  • @androbcn Falklands have NEVER been Argentine

  • @Eddieposted Not true, the Nato was defending Europe against the S.U., in fact the Americans sent forces to fulfill some of the British duties.

You can lie all you want but the sad thing is that you know you have to lie....

  • Ya nacio aquel que comandara las tropas Argentinas a la destruccion total de los ingleses en el atlantico sur.

  • @Eddieposted - I would agree about incompetence, but I don't think there were more examples of cowardice than among any "statistical" armed force, especially those using conscripts. I think the factor contributing to incompetence was that Ar. thought Br. will not come, so the fact that there would be fighting was a surprise. Maybe Br. soldiers also thought there would be no fighting (YT-ers veterans can answer), but as professionals were trained better.

  • @Eddieposted - Not 25-30, but 22-24, I think was the average age.

  • @OlenkaWagner I must agree with poor eddiposted here on this, a man of 18 is old enough to fight (although your right that the average age of the British was a bit higher than the Argentine) so the age is not necesarily a factor.

the main factor was Chile and the astonishing incompetence and cowardice of Menendez and galtieri. Even when the Argies were outnumbered and outgunned on land with conscripts lacking trainning, they could ve won given the damage their air force had done.

  • @Eddieposted - You remember, once we discussed the issue of the age of Br. and Ar. soldiers and I quoted the data that the average age of the British was about 22, while in case of Argentinians it was 19. On the other hand there were 16 years old British soldiers, while the youngest Argentinians could have been 18 (born in 1963). Also anonther thing is the average age and the other is the number of soldiers of certain age. Anyway, most sources say the average age of the Br. soldiers was higher.

  • Thatcher drunk woman!

  • The Argentine troups were 18 year conscripts (by force by the dictatorship) not proffessional soldiers (they were 25-30 years, better equipped and aclimatized) because the professionals were in the border with Chile to prevent a chilean attack.

The argentinian air force could only fly 5-10 minutes over the islands (the british harriers 35 minutes) The British soldiers had termic uniforms, ballistic vests, night vision, and their artillery had a range of 17 km (arg. cannons only 10).

  • Captain Barker HMS Endurance RIP it was a pleasure working for you during my time in Endurance .

  • Bottom Line, the Brits out fought the Arges!

  • The Argentines poured 12,000 + troops into the Island. They had 75 flights a day bringing in supply's before the Task force could make landfall. On paper the British shouldn't have won.8000 miles is a LONG way.We had better troops but the most we could bring is 7000 combat with stores for 3 weeks fighting.

If they held out for 4 weeks they would have won.

If the Argentine Navy went after the TAsk force and got 1 of the main ships they would have won.

They didn't do any of the above & Lost.

  • @TrentVenture Your nuclear submarines would have stop the antiquated Argentinian Navy.

  • @asasscd Yep would have cost the Argentine Navy, but then you have to fight and lose ships to win. When the Royal Navy landed at San Carlos it wasn't mined.Argentina beleved no one would take a fleet were their radars & Shipboard SAM systems would not work well. They would be very vulnerable to Air attack.A "Bomb Alley" so to speak.

So thats were the Bristish went.

They knew they would lose ships and a lot. That was the price of getting on shore.

Fear of lose should not initiate inaction in war.

  • @TrentVenture Actually it was not because of the cost that Argentina didnt use their navy, but because our ships had to be kept out of the conflict (as well as most of our forces) as a deterrent against Chile.

The British actually expected to lose no more than 2 ships in that conflict since they had planed to take out the Ar navy and air force before the landing took place.

  • @Arminevh They HOPED to lose a few ships but no military Operational plan survives contact with the enermy. When they desided to make landfall in San Carlos they knew they would lose ships.

Your missiles can't work as well as you can out at sea.

They had to postion warships so the would be the first ship attacked & sunk. Not the landing ships or Troop carriers. So they changed tactics as and when nessary included lose's to complete their mission.

  • 12:35 asbestos mask's are worn for protection lol

    !!!!!

  • Fuck Argentgayna!

  • @daz99uk5 very original, you are a genious my friend

  • Conscripts versus real soldiers. War was over before it started.

  • @vinsong yes you was there fighting, dont you? why dont you talk with some veterans?, they would tell you how many of them have died, how much they suffered, and how they almost lost, we were threatened by chile and that was the cause of oure defeted, we had to dived our troops

  • @Leogalvanhalen First, no. If Argentina had sent professional soldiers to defend the isle it prob would still be in argentine hands.

  • @vinsong

Just to let you know they did send some pros and no they would not because they had shit commandards and did not do well in one single fire fight for example Tumbledown the Argentian marines

  • @madjaime2007 you are right in something, but the most of the pro were in the frontier with chile. Chile threatened was the key for the surrender. The generals is a cuestion apart, they were in conflict when galtieri said to menendez he would be punished under the war code if he surrender, this one choose to betray him. In the end menedes save his life from galtieri. Read more and you will se that menendes never order the counter attack or put the troops on the shores.
