That has nothing to do with this case I understand but it is just a way of showing the divine rule of thumb that what goes around comes around, etc !!! I spent time at Healthsouth in late 2008. It may not have been Richard but the culture at HS was not towards being on the up and up. I am a CPA and I know when things "smell right" and from what it sounds like from my time there, it stunk!
People in the Northwest are shamed to be in the same country as the ignorant south. At one point in the film a lady exclaims that god vindicated Scrushy by a non-guilty verdict in the first trial. He later is found guilty in the second. Does this mean God damned him? No. It means God is challenging him. Do these people make it up as they go? WoW! Where the hell did I say Richard made his money from preaching? I was pointing out the ignorance of people who attribute the goods and bads in their lives to God. In the South that type of ignorance is very prominent. Preachers in the South make a ton of money off that ignorance.
