This live video just makes me cry because I did not know that Roy was struggling with all of his pressure and stress. By watching his performance on the video, I can easily notice that he was suffering, but trying his best on stage for all Kamelot fans. I just wanna say big thank you to him for bringing us beautiful music with his amazing vocals.

@CRESCENTmoonist Maybe ... Actually Roy Khan to me was a great inspiration, but I think the end of his career in Kamelot was more like a duty than a passion ... I think he was being hard pressed ... But I think maybe he made sure he had to move away a bit of everything for maybe ever again.
thats an amazing performance, roy probably over used his voice right before performing plus he looks a little sick... poor guy =/ still amazing though!!!

@Sentya Yes, but beyond exhausted he began to smoke and drink excessively. He even put it in the interview they did with him, he was away because it was totally unable to continue because of extresse and why he ended up getting these addictions to try not to go crazy.
@rodrigodevi actually, quite alot of singers drink and smoke alot, it doesnt effect them horribly, roy has always loved his share of whine, i dont think he's an alcoholic honestly, he seems sick and when you're sick and you put too much strain on your voice, there's no going back, you need like 2 weeks of rest for it to pass, alot longer for your voice to fully recover, i have experience trust me
And paople still asks me, why I do not smoke ! lol The cigarretes and tha beer are just a Piece of shit, all they do is destroy people's health, look what they did to one of the best voices of the world !! : /

i see alot of people bashing kahn about this show , and i admit his voice sounds worn out. thats because it was. they have been touring almost nonstop since 2005 and as a singer myself , i know its impposible to go that long without a break. i just hope they dont run the new singer ragged like they did kahn , he will always be one of my inspirations and i hope to hear him again soon.
