A USB that i like is the DT Mini Slim by Kingston, i got it from a swap n meet for $28 aussie dollars for an 8GB one about 6 months ago which is pretty cheap.
I dont get how either of those will not get scratched. isnt the little gold strips super important? on both of them, they are exposed. wouldnt the keys scratch and destroy it?

I've had my eye on the 8 gig Iamakey for a while now, but the price premium for the style - £30 after tax and P&P - is a little too high, so I'm waiting for it to come down.

Damn our technology is advancing so quickly! Remember when 2 gig memory sticks were 200 dollars and 256 Megabyte SD cards were 50?
Now 256MB are worthless and you could get 16 gigs for 200 dollars!
And we go, in around 30 or 20 years, i forget, from Floppydisks with megabytes, to 100 times smaller USB drives with 8 gigs!

How about mentioning transfer rates, durability, does their size allow a 2nd usb port to be used at the same time, etc, etc....
