@doccarmz The song was taught to the Drakensberg Boys Choir of 1987 by the choir of the 202 Batallion of the Southwest African Defence Force stationed in Rundu. These two choirs undertook a tour of most of the major military bases in Southwest Africa (now Namibia) in1987. I was on that tour and notated the song. Some of the boys in the choir later went on to sing in the KZNYC which is probably how you came to know it.
