China slaughters and kills monks and nuns by the thousands and jail innocent people and then steal their organs......China also has no animal rights....there was a woman in China who put up vids of her killing puppies with her high heel shoes. And why not? Totally legal thing to do in China. The good outweigh the bad? Must be some fucking spectacular good to outweigh those evils.
In my opinion all the animals are equal (including humans), just because western ppl happens to love dogs as pets doesnt mean they're "better" animals in "nature" sense. Thus I dont judge eating dog's meat more than any other animals meat.
I asked a guy from China about eating dog and thought that he would get upset about asking. He didn't give it any more thought than we would be for going to Burger King. He said dog is good in the winter because it keeps them warm on the inside. He then started talking about eating monkey brains and how good it was. He also talked about when he was young in the 1970's and 80's how hunger they were in Beijing. How about a video about "poopy pants" that all the kids in China wear.
Yea, being Chinese, I am NOT happy about the Dog Eating problem, I remember seeing Street dogs disappear when winter arrived in Taiwan. But like you said that's the reality and when asked why they eat dog I was told the meat heats your body. Sounds like a load of Crap, but there you are.

In my head, I always hoped that the eating of dogs was something that was done a long time ago, or in times of food/supply shortages. in 2008 I was in a market in Hanoi and saw it for myself, I joked about it with my friends, but I honestly was quite disturbed by it...great video my friend..
Dont be disturbed.... Its true that the dogs are specially breed for to eat. Its not disturbing at all! Just imagine you eat, cow, chicken, duck, rabbit.. what is the difference? all same! The skin of a sausage is from pig intestine! We human eat any animal:)
