  • what is best? this xiphos or jackson WRMG? I think that Jackson WRMG is best.

  • Chords for the arpeggios please? lol

  • good but you look pissed

  • @thepeuny1 hes pissed at how good that guitar is for it damn price damn im getting one next week <3

  • well there is more to guitar than just sweeping and tapping other than that nice vid

  • true. Speed picking.

  • Don't listen to them man they probably cant sweep at all so ya man just keep rockin an dont give up God Bless

  • nice

  • whoever left those last two comments are fags, probably sucking each other, good job dude, sloppy or not

  • lmao u r funny

  • That didn't sound sloppy at all to me! Sounded great in fact!

  • i want to buy the new XP700HX but i've read a lot of crap 'bout the Edge III, is really that bad?

  • unlike the fella below, the edge 3 is a good tremolo. Only reason why a trem doesn't hold tune is because of string slippage at the locking nut or improper tremolo spring tension.

all tremolo's are good, just takes someone with a brain to learn how to adjust them and set them up properly.

it isn't rocket science. and it doesn't need to be replaced with an edge zero either.

The edge 3 is based on the original lo-pro edge. looks and works the same as the original edge on my 87' RG770.

  • @ChromiumSilver Floyd Rose is still better.

  • You guys are correct for the most part. MOST licensed Rose trems are crap. But Jackson JT580's are some of the best out there. Ive got Schaller, Gotoh and other Floyds..the Jacksons are as good as any of them. Ive also got an Edge Pro and Pro 2 and they arent bad either....

If it aint broke.....dont fix it.

  • nice playing!

    btw, luv ur dreads ^^

  • does it have a floyd rose?

  • sort of. its an ibanez edge iii, its double locking so it holds tune as well as a floyd

  • but does it go down and up and make the strings as loose and tight as a floyd?

  • yes

  • kk thanks

  • No it doesn't. Edge III's are crappy. Get the hardtail version of this guitar

  • obviously uve never played on one tht was set up correctly. works perfect =)

  • No, they're made with low quality metals that break down more easily than OFR's. They'll work fine for a bit, then they'll crap out on you and they warp strings.

  • warp strings??? we'll see if it shits out.

  • Don't really seem to get the war between the Edge III and the OFR. I've had guitars with both, and I personally dig the Edge III more. Both trems have a good tuning stability when set up properly, but I dig the feel of the Edge more.

  • Eh, I've had both, and there are so many Edge III horror stories i won't be buying one in the future.

  • It takes some work to get the set-up right, but when it's good it's good. I don't think an OFR would be any better when set like crap. And the Edge kicks some serious shit out of all other FR -copies I've encountered.

  • Of course setup matters. An OFR set up badly will obviously be worse than an Edge III with a good setup, but the materials on the Edge are just not as good as those of the Floyd. However, Licensed, Special, and FR 1000's are bad. Only Original or Schaller FR's are good.

  • Yeah... EDGE III is shit. I just ordered an Edge Pro to replace the Edge III in my Xiphos.

  • how much is an edge pro? and how do u replace trems? like is it hard?

  • I wish I could sweep pick T.T

  • ha im getting there XD should have a vid of me sweeping in a month XD

  • i've never been able to do 5/6 string Major arpeggios... don't know why but to me they're alot harder than diminished and minor. to me, minor is totally the easiest and funnest.

  • i love mine, its such an awesome guitar

  • Comment removed

  • nice sweeps

  • epic sweeps and cool hair :D

  • Those sweeps were so clean, nice!

  • Its the D Activator pickups, they are made so if your playing fast you can hear every note.

  • yea, paul gilbert has same pickups on his, sadly so does herman lee, checkout muhammed suicmez from necrophagist in the xiphos story, full explanation and shred

  • no its not that sad herman has them too, cuz at least then he has tone.

  • 1. Suicmez has EMGs in his axe.

    2. Herman Li mainly uses evolutions and his custom pickups.

    3. Which of Paul Gilbert's guitars has D Activators in them?

  • same brand... all different pickups. also muhammed suicmez swapped his d activators for emg's.

  • Aussie is the breeding grounds for hot men [:

  • lie. aussie is the breeding ground for hot WOmen. =]]

  • really?

  • lol look for yourself =]

  • how about no

  • Reminds me of Munky from KoRn, ( from their early days that is )

  • Hey awesome work there Mick.

  • Excellent sweeping, and yeah they're nice guitars, I love mine (mine is the green though).

  • Dude, I gotta get me one of those.

  • hell yeah, thats wat im sayin. theyre like $930 last time i checked on the ibanez site. i can prolly get em for cheaper on ebay but i dont trust that type of stuff.

  • I can get them for cheaper in store.

  • Gotta love those dreads.

  • Man that was great! I'm getting this guitar next friday btw >:D

  • Dude, that is fucking insane. \m/
