Shortly after, a gang of fiddler crabs known as the Haitian Crustaceans stabbed the crayfish to death. Gang violence is the #1 cause of aquarium deaths. So sad to see crabs get caught up in that life.

Are they both still alive? I'd been looking to adding a smallish crayfish to my tank but feared he'd eat my favorite fiddler crab. I added a female red crab and am pretty sure she'd get killed pretty quick with such small claws.

Is this brackish water and do your crabs have acess to oxygen? How long have you had fiddlers ?

@zacBlondie i put some salt in my water every so often and my crabs have the ability to go on to some land but they dont use it to often...i had my crabs for about six months
