i think you started off too strong. Part A can be softer (listen to the original one again and u should understand what i mean), because the guy part ended softly.

and since this song is a duet, the chorus parts around 2:50~3:00 can try falsetto to harmonize. your voice matches the guy's voice pretty well if you sing softer. (like around 3:20)

i'm just talking about aspects of duet. looking at singing alone, u did great.
