  • I had this for my assembly

  • oh little town of Bethlehem...

  • Some sad comments around here :( Does it really matter what and why we celebrate? And does it matter when we do it? Do we need a rational and proven reason for being kind, gentle, open to our keen and to our neighbour (regardless of his creed) or even to a total stranger? Must we restrain from anything but reasoning or better said, the lack of it? It's like feelings of warmth, peace, joy are something to be ashamed of. Pitiful asleep souls... Merry Christmas to everyone!

    will do soon though :)

  • 2 people don't know the true meaning of christmas

  • @musicgal365 What, the pagan festival celebrating the coming of the new year?

  • @MyFaceBurns You are a bigotted person. The true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus, our Saviour.

  • @HurtLittleGirl No it isn't; Christmas is nothing to do with Christianity or Jesus at all... if Jesus even existed, it's almost certain he wasn't born anywhere near December. By celebrating Christmas you're celebrating a Pagan festival, which is a sin according to your god. Woops!

  • @MyFaceBurns ummm... The pagan festival was named "Christmas", but that doesn't mean Christians can't celebrate their own version of Christmas. That's like saying Hershey and Cadbury are the same company because they both make/sell "candy bars", but we all know that Hershey has Reese's and Kit Kat, whereas Cadbury has Mr. Big and Wine Gums. Completely different thing, both "candy bars".

  • @BRNNDO30 Christians celebrate Christmas because they believe Jesus was born on that day, when in reality he was not. In fact, he probably wasn't born at all. Either way, you Christians believe you're celebrating the birth of baby Jesus, but in actual fact you're not.

  • @MyFaceBurns Actually, there is documented proof that Jesus lived, and we know that he was actually born around March. Christians are celebrating the birth of the Founder of our religion, and it doesn't matter when we celebrate it. The Queen has two birthdays, and we still celebrate the one that isn't when she was born. How is this any different.

  • @HurtLittleGirl No there isn't; give me good solid evidence he existed and I may change my mind. Also, you celebrate the birth of the founder of your religion by stealing another religion's festival... what's the point in this?

  • @BRNNDO30 I wouldn't call wine gums a candy bar, and Mr Big isn't sold outside of the US, but I get your explanation :)

  • @HurtLittleGirl You got the wrong day, thanks for playing though :P

  • Even though it is not christmas the carols and songs bring hope and happinedd to many

  • Love this song. Bring back great memories of my childhood.

  • @muriel2933 I didn't care for the melody that I heard WEN i wazzuhhh child, but wen I first heard this overseas in ENGLAND, in the Air Force , my 1st Christmas, I JUST FELL IN LOVE with the HYMN!!!!!! I know I"m repeating myself, but it's worth it, I think

  • Just lovely.

  • this sung a lot differently than i am used to...
