Amazing! This song reminds me so much of the Philippines, and the words are in Tagalog...I recognize "salamat po" (thank you). Each time I hear this I'm reminded of a special girl I danced to it with at Wallace Air Station, San Fernando, La Union back in 1972-73. Being on that flight back to the States was one of the saddest times of my life. Lourdes, I loved you then and still do.

Great video & song.....Has there ever been a video made of the aft position when a passenger jet lifts off the runway ? That would be cool to see the runway & airport dissappear behind you as the plane climbs.....

@ftjax -- That type of shot is perhaps possible with aft airstairs or belly door being open as in military airplanes like C-130 and C-123. It's not quite possible for passenger airplanes, since the aft airstairs like those on Boeing B727s or DC9s or BAC1-11 are now not openable in flight, to comply with the requirements mandated by the regulatory authorities.

Incidentally an Airbus A320 would have to be ferried with extra fuel tanks inside the cabin (and no revenue passengers) to reach LAX from there.

I remembered, because when I was a Very Little Boy, My Uncle was a Big Andy Williams Fan, and he had an album that had this song. But this was back in 1971, one year Climax did this song. In fact, Andy Williams was the very first one who did this song..
