I sort of hope you don't make it to Stone for a tour; it's annoying and pretentious to go to. If you've read the entire Arrogant Bastard label, that basically sums up the brewery. It's like a fancy pretentious restaurant, but with bad food... really bad food. Alesmith and Pizza Port are must-gos, though. Pizza Port San Clemente is just outside of SD in a beach bum town, but is the best beer place in SD by far. Great atmosphere, excellent food and great beer that is often never bottled.

@vandercocky Stone was one of the reasons I got into craft beer so for me its kind of something I feel like I need to do to fulfill my beergeekdom :) With that said I have a private tour setup so Im hoping we get to see more of the "guts" of the brewery and the process. Pizza Port Carlsbad and Alesmith are both on the agenda as well as Ballast Point, Green Flash and of course LA/Port. We are also gonna be hitting Iron FIst as well. And other places your would reccomend?
