Its not an easy journey. Should you start out don't expect miracles. When you look back you may see them. When you take your final vows, they suddenly become very difficult to obey. Its as if God says 'Thank you but now learn Humility'. The Humility of knowing nothing is within your power, or your Knowledge. When you fail you will know even more keenly your need of me. But my child please continue on your journey, and feel my loving support at every step of your life.

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:9-21)
When we encounter a Franciscan, they raise our spirits. I find listening to Franciscan sermons very uplifting. I think the Holy Ghost is powerfully with the Franciscans.
Got that right! The simple contemplative prayer style of the Capuchins especially intrigues me. The Franciscans are awesome! Francis was the most Christ like saint ever, and because of Hids example I want to be a franciscan myself.
I enjoyed that Steve. Your sisters expression when she wasn't sure of Padre Pio's state was golden. I have a bond with St. Francis that's special to me too. May your sister's communion with our most humble brother in Christ bear much fruit.
Oh Steve, your whole family are blessed. Yes, Padre Pio is a saint now.
Susan seems very simple but very, very deep. All I can say is, the spirit is bubbling in her already. May God grant her the strength, the courage, the patience and above all the faith needed, I pray. Amen.
I raise my hat for you, sister Susan. May God bless you abundantly.
And Steeve, thanks for sharing this video. I love the song as well. Thanks and welldone.
Thank you very much Steve!!...This is a very nice video..St.Francis is one of my favorite saints along with St.Therese of the child Jesus and St.Cathherine Laboure,my patron saint..Youre sister's story is inspiring!.Its so nice to see her in this video and hear about her accounts as a follower of Christ and making St.Francis as her model..
Thank you Steve for sharing this lovely and rather moving video with me. Your sister is a woman of God. I wish her every blessing on her journey. Blessed are the peacemakers for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
You are all very blessed to be used by God to spread the Gospel in such a way. I myself have been called to be a pastor in God's Church, so there shall definitely be some challenges for all of us in living out our faith.
See, your sister is coming to the conclusion that all one has to do is say, "Here I am" and die to self to live for and in the new nature in Christ, which flows from one's baptism. It just takes throwing the false pride away that says "I have all the answers" or "I want to be entertained..." May God bless her and her inspiration to others. (Maybe she'll inspire a few future priests too!)
Steve, your whole family is blessed. It is not an easy decision to make and I believe one has to be specially called by God to religious life . Sister Susan seems so, so deep, patient and relaxed. I believe the spirit is at work already in her, of which I am very grateful to God for her. May God give sister Susan the strengh, the courage , humility, obedience and above all the faith she needs. May God bless you abundantly, sister Susan. All the best.
Hello Steve, This video is beautiful and so touching. May Susan be blessed in her journey. God is with her.. I am a Third Order Franciscan and find this way of life leads to joy and contentment.
Thanks for posting Steve. I pray God be with your sister. I wear my St. Francis scapular every day. Padre Pio was made saint a few years. I have felt the kind warm presence of Padre Pio from time to time, urging greater love for Jesus, and for neighbour.
Steve...She is beautiful! I have a cousin who is a Nun living in South America. I have only seen her three times in my entire life. I love her. She is an Angel here on earth. I have seen Christ in her eyes as well in her actions.
