I stopped ski jumping 30 years ago and ski jumping without snow is around more than 40 years, but only few hills was then equipped for it. Now, almost every ski jumping hill up to HS 125 is geared for it and can be used all year round. BTW, its not as dangerous as its may look. Its one of the best sports I could think of.
effing crazy, first of all in the winter that is nuts, but in the summer with no snow to slide on if you fall going that fast omg that would be a disaster.

Great video! I never jumped all that well in LP but I really liked the hills and the town. It was a great place to spend time, summer or winter. If you have any more ski jumping videos from lake placid I would love to see them!
