@HimeMurasakiPrincess I think this was held at around 7-8pm when they all arive. I guess there would be no point in arriving in the dark. A lot of people turned up to see how they arrived and what everyone was wearing as a lot of money can be spent to look good!
I am so sad:(im from germany and i don't like our School System .i think the american system is waaaay better.and the proms in America are so great.we do have a kinda prom too but you cant Collage it with this amazing thing in the us.i am soooooooo sad:(

@thepetetyphoon So glad that when i went to school it wasn't necessary to dress up like I was going to one of my parents dinner parties in suburbia. And there was a healthy delineation between pupil and teacher. Who's paying for all that crap? Limos, horse and carriage and the silly costumes? The parents must be nailed to debt trying to keep up with the demands of their children attempting to mimic them and impress their friends.
