What I see is the realpolitik inclined CCP indoctrination of extreme nationalism (which seems quite similar to Nazi Germany) massive military build up, stealing of sensitive material from allied military computers, artificial devaluation of it's currency, 'dumping' of products to monopolise markets unfairly.
