JLY did a great job with this. Sondheim is brilliant, and his works are not easy to learn, Into the Woods was extremely difficult to learn. I think JLY sounds alot like the Baker in the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods, he would do amazing if they decided to put him in it. :)
@omgitsranna and Raul was okay in Company but John is only okay in this . But he acts well but his high voice which was so effective in Jerseby Boys for which he got the tony only goes so far here. Will he win another tony yes but not for a role like this.
Bravo! Thank you for this, I was in the box seats when John Lloyd was singing this Sondheim classic! Nice to see the emotions, expressions, and movements in this number. Excellent actor/singer!
