There are lots of recording programs that can play things backwards. I personally use Adobe Audition to play things backwards, it allows me to listen to a specific spot over and over until I can make out what is being said.

It takes three to four hours to listen and to make the video. Really with this one it was pretty easy as much of the reverse on this was easy to understand. However there is always parts that must be listened to many times in order to choose what I think it most sounds like.
