I love the The Muppet Show wasn't considered "children's" programming, per se. It aired at prime time, and EVERYONE loved it. They weren't afraid to be a little edgy, because they didn't have to worry about being shut down by crazy conservatives who were worried about their pwecious babies being exposed to such things.

I throw up in my mouth a little everytime I remember that Disney has the rights to Jim Henson's work. Thankfully they haven't defiled it......yet.
