Yes, very underrated. Her version of 'Shadows of the Night' is far better than Benatar's. I think if Columbia and her management had done a better job, she'd been a superstar. She could sing anything, play 'Stranger in the House' and everyone would think she was a country singer. I think she was only 16 when her 1st record came out. A big voice from a small package.

Growing up in the late Seventies, I really thought Rachel Sweet was hot. She must have been sixteen or seventeen when she did this. Hard to believe she went from America to England's Stiff Records to become a singing star. Why she never caught on her in America, I'll never know.

By the way, Rachel's still around. Only this time, she's working as a writer and producer for American TV shows like "Dharma and Greg".
