  • where did you mount the camera? it was a really good position almost as if it was right in front of the shooters eyes. any help would be great as i use my headcam with a headstrap and its on my right side hence a huge bias to the right side of the gun thanks.

  • @dwayne7701 It's center mounted directly under the bill of my baseball cap. Here's a pic: dawsonprecision daht com/images/CDVDHatCam.jpg

  • @CompetitionDVD thanks. i tried mounting mine on top but i still have to adjust cos it seems to be looking too low and only getting my arms in the frame hahaha thanks again!

  • heyy um gonna start competition soon, just wondering how many rounds should i plan to bring for a day if im doing say..production or limited 10

  • @Glockcrazy19 Well, each match has a different round count but around here (TX) most matches are between 125-150 rounds. Bringing 200 is a good idea, 300 if you like to miss a lot. ;)

  • Is taking 2 shots at each target a rule or just a general strategy in case you miss the first?

  • @SnovvVilliers No, most of these stages score the best two hits on each paper target so firing two shots at each target is mandatory.

  • @CompetitionDVD

    Ah I see, thanks.

  • @brod6789 It's an Archos 404 system mounted to the underside of a baseball cap.

  • hey what kind of video glasses are you guys using?

  • This is Limited 10 shooting... for the record

  • @TopGearReview No, actually this is Production, Single Stack, Revolver, Limited and Limited-10 divisions... For the record.

  • really cool vide!

  • so how does one get involved in joining a USPSA team?

  • @MrL0R3NZ0 USPSA isn't really a "team" sport, each competitor is scored individually. To get started in USPSA shooting, go to uspsa.org to find a club near you. To create a USPSA "team", get a bunch of shooting friends together and have some custom shirts made. And, poof!, just like that, you have a team!

  • its not factory ammo is it? reload ammo? seems like it has pretty low recoil a reduced charge? or are u guys just really good :D

  • @shitpickle1128 Most of the time for competition like this people lighten the recoil spring and use reduced reloads. If you give them full power rounds the time between each shot will go up a little, but they'd be just as fast at aiming/firing!

  • @SabaothChristou Not true at all. The guns in Limited and Limited-10 division are shooting "major" loads with a Power Factor of 165 or higher. So, they are full-house loads shot in highly tunes race guns by exceptional shooters.

  • @shitpickle1128 Most competitors reload to save money and to tune their loads to their own, particular gun.

  • @CompetitionDVD most matches have a minor and major load. minor is 125 powerfactor and major is 170. i am not sure about uspsa but the numbers i mentioned are from the IPSC rules. hope this helps :)

  • That's some amazing shooting. Makes me want to out rounds through my Sigs even more.

  • what caliber is he shooting???

the mag capacity is crazy, theirs no way its a 45

  • They are 2011 STI guns chambered in .40 S&W. Using 140 mm magazines, we can get up to 20 rounds in the gun.

  • at 1:05 did the guy stick two in a no shoot?

  • No, I shot that stage clean.

  • nice one. watchin this makes the waiting for my sti edge so much harder lol.

  • The blued gun that Nathan shot in this video is an STI Edge, I believe. The chromed gun is a Dawson custom gun built on an STI frame. =)

  • they should base on this 4 new ages video games

  • Captain Price: Check those corners!

  • 0:25

damn, i hate those spinning targets. they are sooo hard to hit when you got the adrenelline pumping.

'course i'm not as good as these guys!!! lol

  • all that brass on the floor... I WANT IT! :(

  • some very good shooters

  • looks fun

  • Man how many rounds do those 1911's hold ? 16? kinda tough to hold 16 single stacked 45's unless they're 9mms

  • This looks like the Limited division, in which most competitors get 20 .40S&W rounds in a 141mm long double stack magazine.

  • ma se vede ke nn so professionisti

  • fuck yeah i wish i can shoot as good as them

  • Do you suggest they train with people shooting back at them? Doesn't make sense...

Secondly, should they pick up their empty magazines after dropping them? I think not.

  • Comment removed

  • How about actually training for combat, and not for competitions? Training for competitions will reinforce tactics and skills that will get you killed or shot in a real gunfight.

And, they shouldn't pick them up because they shouldn't have to'; They shouldn't be dropping them in the first place if they can help it.

  • How about letting the competition shooters have their fun without you preaching about tactics? Obviously, the guys at these matches dont care about that stuff. You do your thing, let them do theirs. Stop being a self important A hole.

  • I was agreeing with you and reprimanding myself, until the insult.

    Unfortunate.

  • So if you are in a gunfight, you suggest them worry about where their empty mags go?

The only time you should worry about where your magazines go, is possibly during a remedial action drill, and even then it's questionable.

The course they are running IS a basic combat course, how do you think the military and LE train their personnel? It is way too expensive and cumbersome to use, ie. simunitions, as a basic combat course.

  • Yeah!

  • nice video sir grats i love youre course of fire its very easy

  • I disagree, it is awesome but easy... I don't think so... He makes look easy

    ; )

  • counter strike source real!!!!!!!

    yeah

  • omg its like CSS, but with out the lag!!!! OMG!

wow some peoples kids on youtube. Welcome to real life man

  • lol damn near

  • man i hate those texas stars it always increase my time by 6seconds

  • very eye opening. the only wait for a good sight alignment to shoot for long distance targets. Anything small or far they do look at that front rear sight relation, otherwise they are shooting with cadence... that's how they do it.. hum

  • Good observation. The USPSA Texas Limited Championship stages change from year to year but this year there were lots of close up targets on most stages. It requires a "less refined" sight picture to engage those targets quickly, than the farther targets. For the closest targets, it was just "point & shoot" (QUICKLY!). -Chet

  • Excellent video!! Congratulations since Argentine!!

  • scary

  • sweet

  • hey pretty good, when is the real one out? or is it out already? do you know where i could get info on the uspsa, like how old you have to be, and stuff?

  • You have to be 21 to join and to have a hand gun

  • thanks

  • wrong, but i still prefer long range matches.

  • no you don't have to be 21, you have to be 21 to buy a handgun but not to shoot one in the USPSA.

  • i'll just find out for myself.

  • hey chet nice preview cant wait to see the real thing.
