@xilverbluesky: Jailbreaking isn't just for the unlock capability. Jailbreak =/= unlock. You just need to jailbreak TO be able to unlock it.

I have a Verizon iPhone 4 and it's jailbroken because there are UI elements that I like to be able to customize (like the lock screen, icon labels, SBSettings for easy access to certain functions, and for custom tones on system notifications).

@prokanda i never said jailbreak=unlock. im clearly aware of the difference between the two. i myself have jailbroken my iPhone 2G, 3Gs and 4.. yet all of them i bought were factory unlocked. i wouldn't be stupid enough to buy a locked device and then cry "whens the unlock coming out" for god knows how long, like most these nabs i see on twitter do..

and yeah, those who doesnt jailbreak their iGadget are surely missing out alot =)
