This is a great scene Blair is like Katherine Hepburn's characters...spoiled rich girl and Dan is like Jimmy stewart...the good boy...and it's a good juxtaposition. Love it! It's good comfort for both Queen B and Lonely Boy.

This is the only thing that keeps me hooked to Gossip Girl at the moment because i've been really disappointed with everthing so far, for example i think the Ben and Serena story line is so cliche and stupid but i've been waiting for D and B to get together for ages so i'm just going to keep watching for them :)

The writers are totally gonna screw this up. I'm actually rooting for Dan over Chuck now, but I KNOW that DB will hookup for a time and then be like "We worked when we were both lonely and rebounding from our past relationships...we're not meant to be...blah blah blah..."
And its gonna suck because I feel like this is the first time a couple hasn't just been thrown together in a matter of a few episodes. They're actually forming a friendship first. I've been a secret DB fan since season 1.
@ep301 i think that alot of ppl have been a Dair shipper since S1 (even me) but we lost hope over the seasons but now that its here the writers are throwing us into another curve ball by making Dair be a short raod to Chair and Derena reunion. I stoppped watching GG until i heard that Dair is happening but if they end up ruining it i will most like stop this season unless Dair comes back next season. Btw cant wait until Ben turns into a psycho and starts killing ppl with Juliet as the sidekick!!

Dan and Blair are so good together! I mean just look at the way they are both smiling together towards the end - Haha they look like a married couple! And then she falls asleep on his shoulder - Awwww. I really wish that Dair could be endgame now...
i KNEW that the episode was gong to end with blair falling asleep at Dan's place as soon as they started mentioning her lack of sleep. I was actually imagining her suddenly falling asleep on his couch and him putting a blanket around her or something, but falling asleep on HIS SHOULDER!? so wonderful.
I haven't been able to stop smiling since the episode aired!
And I was thrilled to see them watching "The Philadelphia Story" (this scene in particular), because I just recently watched that movie for the first time, and all I could think watching Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart 's scenes together was how much they reminded me of Dair! :) And they definitely love watching the classics.
Don't know what going to happen next week on Gossip Girl but, if Dan and Blair don't get to together next week I'll still be happy because of this ending right here.

I have been waiting for this! I literally freaked out when I was watching this--I was/am so excited. Next Monday cannot come soon enough. On a slightly different note, did anyone else expect more of a reaction from Serena when she found Dan at W with Blair? I mean, I know there was the drug debacle--but if I was her I think I would have been more weirded out.

They are closer then ever but can still joke around, because it still is a bit odd for them to be hanging out, but they enjoy it so much. Movies and cuddling, that's what they need. They need each other.
Dair is such a nice portrayal of a healthy relationship. I love them so much!!
