    1st thing i thought:

    GTA SA :$

  • i was born in 1991 and im over wondering oh why oh why cant todays music be like this.lol

  • Tupac even if talking bout guns isnt all really bout guns how bout the song changes or ill be missing you theres alot of old rap aint bout all bad like bonethugs tha crossroads and if i could teach the world talking bout what could or should be

  • 1. NY State of Mind

    2. One Mic

    3. Shook Ones Pt 2

    4. Dead Presidents 2

    5. T.R.O.Y.

  • Not so old school. More like silver age of hip-hop.

  • all eyes on me was a double album, same with life after death but that had loads of talking ans shit, can any1 else name a hip hop double album?

  • @kjah187 Wu Tang Forever, Bone Thugs n Harmony - The art of war. But your'e right, there's not many.

  • yeah no shit but like i said schooly d was the real creator of gangsta rap, he from phily. and also there's talent all over except the south maybe. thats the main reason is disagree with your choice, cause you picked mostly eastcoast beats wnen we both know there was rappers from all over.

  • 80's is far more oldschool than the 90's, you left out alot of good tunes still those are good tunes you picked. and the majority of your top ten is new york so not in full agreement with your choice.

  • @kjah187 Newyork is the heart of rap son

  • schooly D was the creator of gangsta rap, do your homework

  • what dude screw you no Biggie? Biggie is the fucking illest you could put ANY of those tracks theyre all fucking legendary

  • Great vid man!

  • Good shit bruh. Keep the old school alive.

  • I respect you leavin out pac and biggie. When we think of old school rap these days thats all most people think about but to be honest there we a lot of artists that don't get any credit who are just as good or better then them during the 80s and 90s.

  • where's biggie....

  • Bring the old school RAP back....we dont need CRAP nowdays...

  • Well done.. It was refreshing to hear what you said about Nine(Nine Livez). It is a travesty more folks don't know about that dude. Lyrically, dat muuu-fucka was da SHIT! He came out about the same time as Ja Rule. Both were two scratchy voiced niggas, but obviously, Ja Rule had better marketing. Ja Rule was a shit stain compared to Nine. Look for Nine's "To Rass" if you want to hear some real stanky, hard shit.. Dats dat shit right there!

  • scenario should be on this

  • im 11 and i think thats awesome (: sick

  • wooorrd up , give me more of those old premoo joints

  • Cant understand why everyone is so aggresive about differences of opinion, if everyone had the same top 10 it would be one ridiculously boring world, personally id have something by the fugees, de la soul or a tribe called quest and outkast

  • ur wrong about 2pac in the desc, he brought so much to this world u cant even image or ur fucking blind or deaf idiot

  • still no mc hammer? i think you need vanilla ice in there as well. have a think about it

  • and eminem released 3 brilliant cds after eminem before he sold out, not sure if you think sslp mmlp and eminem show were sell outs or not

  • funny you dont like rap about guns, i searched the top ten violent hip hop songs and this was the top video

  • I enjoyed your choices man. Personally I would have MC eight, Paris, KRS1, and a bunch of others, but I like what you have done. Good shit man. By the Time I get to Arizona shaped my youth and I believe it is one of the greatest songs ever written,

  • Top 10 old school hip hop songs fits perfect with the 10 songs of nas' album Ilmatic ;-)

  • These tracks are great. It is great to hear some of the more original hip-hop sounds that people forget or have never heard.

  • whats the 3 song ?!!!!!!!!

  • la di da di- classic n will always be my favorite song.

  • whats the first song?

  • @FataLxHaZe Gang Starr - Full Clip.

  • why dont you have the name of the songs instead of what they did.

  • @FataLxHaZe If you watch the video you'll see i have both.

    Merry Christmas :)

  • @FataLxHaZe the names are there dude

  • 1:15 thats like som GTA4 Art

  • tracklist? thxx

  • i respect the description and i kinda agree. plus its good to see some good oldschool cause im pretty sure everyone knows biggie and tupac lol

  • Not to mention ... BDP: Stop The Violence... hah... man ... you just don't know..

  • This list is gay... and your reason for the 2 not getting in for "violent" songs.. your retarded...

2Pac: Brenda's Got a baby, all eyez on me, I get around...

Biggie: Back to cali, hypnotize, big poppa, one more chance....

  • @cabletvrotsthebrain then go listen to them 7 songs dumbass. its for music you might never have heard of otherwise youd be wasting your time

  • Why would you not put the names of the songs?

Wtf is the point of putting up a video with the top songs and not have the name of the song??

    Are you mentally challenged?

  • @godswordofsaradomin Jesus christ, he wrote the names in the text, he didn't write them seberately, but they're still written and mentioned

  • nas method man eminem nwa gangstarr. the dopest.

dj primo is fire- my friend met him once

  • you put Cisco Kid by Cypess Hill at 15th and 18th... anyway, decent list.

  • like the general assortment of music in this countdown...kept it clean, that's cool.

  • rip guru

  • Since when was NWA the creator of gansta rap, you need to get your facts straight!

  • good stuff, wish i was black and could rap

  • @ceirerose lol

  • @ceirerose you don't need to be black to rap. look at eminem, yelawolf, mac miller, etc.

  • @ceirerose Hip hop isn't a colour it's a lifestyle anyway anyone can learn to rap

  • @ceirerose you don't have to be black to rap

  • @ceirerose Eminem aint black and he raps

  • dont say you are a true Eminem fan before you can spell infinite....

  • you left out L.O.T.U.G.?????? i always cant understand it :SSSSSS

  • GURU DIED FROM A CANCER

  • N.W.A. With TuPac FTW<3

  • I totaly Disagree with description. Wtf? TUpac hasnt ONLY rapped about bitches and violence

  • I'm a metalhead.

And i respect/like this music, not the shit they spin these days.

  • Alot of pac's songs were not just about guns, general violence, bitches and money.

  • @Lpbryan121517 most of them werent besides i get around but that was not all about bitches either

  • @Lpbryan121517 only 15% was.

  • thats a good playlist bro. good taste.

  • i totally agree with you on your description

  • WU TANG

  • Man, Mass Appeal By Gang Starr Was One Of The Sickest Tracks EVER

  • @CaliAhjee24 wordddd defo gangstarrs best

  • u guys laugh at em...

  • heaps of wack tracks on here- u need to listen to some REAL hip hop including Aussie hip hop!!

  • @racheeeeeeeee which tracks you think are wack? lol!

  • NWA had plenty of songs about guns n bitches.. lol

  • N.W.A ninjas with attitude

  • i like ur opinion

  • -Wanna hear a joke?

    -Eminem.

  • @scugnizzo1000 wanna hear a joke?

  • infinate by far the best album eminems done, your right bout him selling out

  • this video is trash you put up a faggot ass eminem song but not "Pete Rock and cl smooth - They reminisce over you" that song fucking introduced many people to hip hop and you couldnt even put a pharcyde or tupac song in your list? this video is fucking trash u dont know what old skool hip hop is or Hip Hop period.

  • i agree guru and all them but leaving out pac? your a fucking idiot RAP IS PAC listen to his fucking music it isnt all about guns and bitches you fucking idiot even Tupac said him fucking self "After im gone you dont want to see what hip hop will become" So fuck you and this video mother fucker

  • @Shamoles tupac is not old skool rap and this list is so maybe thats why

  • @SlimRikkosz more old skool then ur faggot boyfriend eminem

  • @Shamoles haha i dont listen eminem, and its just a fact, every rap fan knows it -_-

  • @trailstar1 man, i listen to oldschool shit (im 15 years old) and i thought i knew about music and listened to the best, but today i have heard songs that I messed up.

I totally agree with you puting La Di Da Di 1rst, but still i would have put Keep Ya Head Up and I Used to Lover H.E.R., thoose songs are just beautiful, i guess you were close to put 'em don't you? However, this made my day, thank you so much haha.

Sorry if i have mistakes, i'm from Uruguay and... well that's pretty much it

  • I could think of a million 2Pac songs that deserve to be on this list. Keep Ya Head Up, How Long Will They Mourn Me, Life Goes On, Hold Ya Head, Cuz I Had 2, Can U Get Away, Sucka 4 Love/Do For Love, I wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto, Trapped, I Don't Give a Fuck, Souljah's Story etc... Biggie didn't have that many lyrical songs tho. But he had a sick flow.

  • memorly lane ! for some reason that song ALWAYS seems to calm me down when im mad or just upset... I love NAS! illmatic the best abulm everrr!

  • ninex bestt!!!!

  • You forgot Mos Def :)

  • so... where is wu-tang?

  • @FlatheadedGorilla are you fucking serious? 2nd song!!!!!!

  • @FlatheadedGorilla M-E-T-H-O-D MAN ... it's #9. i guess it's this dude's favourite track on that album.

  • @gibby23007 Yeah, it certainly wouldn't make it into my top tracks from 36 Chambers. C.R.E.A.M. & Protect Ya Neck are my favs from that. P.E. I would never have picked By The Time I Get To Arizona, not in a million years is that anywhere near being their best tune. Louder Than A Bomb wipes the floor with it, as do Bring The Noise, Burn Hollywood Burn, Rebel Without A Pause.. The list goes on, & on! No Rakim!!? No KRS!!??

But then, he also includes Nas & Eminem so I guess I shouldn't expect much

  • slick rick mona lisa slick rick xhildrens story im only 13 and i no better songs y the fuck u put express yourself put sraight outta compton

  • @trailstar1

    Tupac - Dear Mama

    Tupac - Thugz Mansion

Tupac - Bring your head up...

  • This playlist is sick but Big L should not be just mentioned in the info, he should be on this video.

  • You say Justin Bieber-I say Tupac

You say Lil Wayne-I say Biggie Smalls

You say Drake-I say Ice Cube

You say Soulja Boy-I say Bone Thugs

You say Gucci Mane-I say Rakim

You say New school-i say shut the fuck up

You say Pop-I scream Hip Hop!

You say Hannah Montana-i fucking punch you in the face

92% of teenagers have turned to New school and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy & paste this message to another 5 videos. Don't let

  • old school thats whats good...check me out!

  • Comment removed

  • Because meth puts so much energy into a song? I beg to differ

  • "Old School"? Flash's old school. Child faggots.

  • these were the days......

  • big daddy kane man!!!!!! where is the big daddy??

  • shit man... cant believe rakim aint on your list

  • Man we got the same taste in hiphop, its been awhile since I've seen nine get some rep

  • DEBUT BIEN ENFIN J AURAI FAIS MIEUX FRANCHEMENT

  • These lists crack me up. I say Drake is old school because hes been out a few years! In fact if your song is more then a day old its old school! People dont know shit about hiphop these days.

  • @Arsinekk No... Old School is a subgenre which is generally categorized as the 90's and back

  • @DaKidAwMe I dont think you get it. You realize the term "old school" has been around since the late 80s right? The term new school started in the 90s. You ever heard of the group Leaders of the New School? Theyre from the 90s.

  • @Arsinekk I get what you're saying but it's pretty much a ten year gap between being considered "old school"

  • @DaKidAwMe According to that idea anything could be old school. For instance what music came out yesterday will be old school. So a song that came out yesterday is the same thing as a song that came out in the 70s?

  • @Arsinekk thats the logic you're presenting me with, not what I'm saying

  • @4ever2pacfan dont know*

  • AND DRAKE IS A FAKEASS

  • eminem dissed his own newly release albums, he said he just wanted to give it a shot again, he didnt succeed and put the mic down, come on goof have respects

  • top tens allways a problem.... but thanks i enjoyed it

  • LL Kool J - Rock the bells?

  • i give it a C-, cuz i think it culd of bein betta...

  • NY STATE OF MIND?!

  • i don't like this list at all but you do have good taste

  • You can't HAVE a "Top" or "Best" in the hip hop game with no BIG! (waves off this list and walks off)

  • I agree. With everything :) But 1,2pass gets the prize

  • the picture at 1.17 where can i find it!?

  • eminem?old school rap?hellll nooooo

  • @Harpuia67 he may not be old school, but he raps the best today

  • @MikeMMA93 true...true...

  • Good job up-loader that was awesome and I agree with all the votes

  • No Redman? Muddy waters album?

  • good selection of jams but gotta disagree with one thing that you said. NWA was not the creators of "gangsta rap". ICE-T was. He was out well before NWA even formed. If you were to get one of his interviews, he said that he was the first one to say on record that he take a gun and kill someone with it. Other than that, respect is given to your list.

  • @xclark187 Actually I'm pretty sure Ice T credits Schooly D for creating gangsta rap.

  • @hiphoppedvibe- And you could be right. I'm just saying that NWA was not the creator of "gangsta rap". But thanks for the info. KEEP THE REAL RAP ALIVE!!!!! LOL. Take care!!!!

  • @xclark187 I've actually been spreading around Digable Planets, Souls of Mischief, Tribe, Ras Kass etc to people. Peace.

  • @hiphoppedvibe - very good groups. i see you are in the era i am, lol. one love bro

  • where is pete rock and cl smooth - they reminisce over you

souls of mischief - 93 til infinity

  • @DiddyL11 They are 2 of my favorite songs but its hard to narrow down a top 10

  • @trailstar1 i know lad its cool man i just thought they would have been there good list tho

  • @DiddyL11 Hard out. Those songs r ill

  • the pharcyde - passing me by????????????

  • cisco kid is on there twice

  • eminem didnt sell out he just followed in dres steps on he started making money off other artist

  • 2pac came out in 91' with his album, so he's so old school u can get if you know what im sayin. "Also alot of their music seems to be about guns, general violence, bitches and money. These are alot of the things i dont like about most modern hip hop."

That's just some bullshit. I hope you are kidding. U dont see the big picture. I can understand if you dont put up Biggie. But 2pac? And u put Nas instead. Shame on u!

  • @uddartt To be honest, the majority of these people aren't old school. Old school is late late 70's through 80's. Nas, Wu Tang, Eminem aren't old school, they emerged in the 90's. However, 2Pac isn't old school either since he wasn't really rapping until like you said, 1991(unless you count when he was with Digital Underground, but he was mainly a dancer).

  • @hiphoppedvibe Im aware what the term old school is. But im disappointed why nas is in it and no 2pac.

  • @uddartt I know. I'm just saying that they both shouldn't be in the list. If this were a video of the best hip hop songs from the 90's then I would agree with you. 2Pac definitely deserves to be in any list regarding top hip hop from the 90s as well as Nas.
