  • @ptercottontail well in Club Silencio there's all the ''it's just a recording' stuff and the singer faints/dies/whatever half way through the song and it keeps playing. I don't know exactly what Lynch's point is but I reckon there's a connection.

  • the actress singing in this scene looks like Angelina Jolie. only prettier

  • David lynch is a genius in setting the mood

  • Naomi Watts. I'm in love.

  • tell me guys

what her name ? the woman that playing connie stevens

i need to know the name of the woman that singing in this part

  • i love this movie to death, but i gotta say i loved this scene because the voice is so good but then i found out that she is lip syncing to the original version of this song which isnt a big deal at all, but for some reason it took something away for me. guh but still drool worthy

  • @ptercottontail

It's a masterpiece for sure. And Naomi Watts never looked better.

  • I never understood this movie, guess I'm just not sosphisticated enough to understand David Lynch. I will say even though I still love Sixteen Reasons and I've told Every Little Star. I get this creepy feeling when I hear them now.

  • Excellent choice, Adam.

  • Great scene

  • I wish there were 32 reasons

  • I just love the way Justin Theroux looks behind his shoulder

  • @Ninja1492

    Yes , me too ;-)

  • Adam sensing Betty's presence. Then recognizing who she is. (She's in control of this dream world.) Then the look of terror on his face. PERFECTION.

  • This is not the girl...

  • fabulous fifties yeras!!!!

  • Saw this movie for the first time last night. was super baked at the time. this part seemed longer, and way more enchanting. gonna go smoke now...

  • Was I the only one that found this scene somewhat menacing? Something about the lead singer just seemed creepy but I don't know why.

  • @Vendrell You're not the only one, I had the same..

  • @Vendrell

You're not the only one - this is a hallmark of David Lynch (the director) - he takes innocuous stuff and somehow twists it into something 'not quite alright' and menacing - you just get the feeling that something sinister is lurking just under the surface ....

  • Dave Chappelle!

  • @XavierCarlington Cocaine is a helluva drug.....

  • sixteen reasons. thank you vdasus

  • one of the true key moments in this movie... how subtly Lynch shows us the layering of reality in the context of filmic narration ^^

    genius

  • 60-70's... WTF?

  • @auerstadt06 idiot, linda scott made this song in the 60s.

  • @Zayrack very early 60's though, right?

  • @auerstadt06 sorry, I was wrong. I sifted to the song "I've told every little star", when I was saying that linda scott made that song in the 60s. I don't know who made this song, but I'm sure that this song was made at the same time.

  • One of the most stylish movies ever made.

  • @leafyutube lynch and style go hand in hand

  • The cowboy guy didn't want this chick. He wanted the other one.

  • I didn't realise that Lisa Lackey is an Aussie. She started her career on Home and Away. She is also Janice from Heroes. Wonderful actress :)

  • love this film, love this scene, love this song

  • does anyone know who the girl is?

  • @starrysea525 Lisa Lackey

  • @IkNeemJeMee Thanks!

  • @starrysea525 No problem! She's not that pretty, but in this scene she's absolutely gorgeous in my honest opinion :)

  • no me canso de ver las miradas que se cruzan ellos dos en el set de filmacion, increible!

  • This is where I think a 'Dennis Potter' influence is manifest within the body of some of Lynch's work...its a great example and very comparable.

I know they met during discussions for 'White Hotel' and I often fantasize about the 2 of them working together and creating something mindblowing...just fantasy of course.

A brilliant combination of sound and image...just as you'd expect from Lynch.

  • For some reason, David Lynch just won't seem to let go of the 60's and 70's, there's a lot of those influences in Twin Peaks and in some of his other films. Though I like the song!

  • onesha ob barad, gap nest

  • kesuntes celestis motures juntiklo nuodok :)

  • yunoik uymolkih eqeguy jimngjletus

  • sixteen reasons-Connie Stevens.I have it on vinyl & also on "teenage Crush Vol 2' CD.

  • I just saw the movie and it wasn't love at first sight.

  • @sharonkayb thats your opinion. there's no correct interpretation of this film, not even the "dream" idea.

  • @jakespick No interpretation for that scene. They didn't fall in love.

  • One of the best love-at-first-sight scenes ever.

  • Pretty hot!

  • No Volume

    This is a great Song

    Movie is differnt

  • Naomi Watts, perfect at 1:25

  • yep :)

  • You can really see the resemblance between Justin and Louis Theroux.

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • lynch really knows how to use a good tune.
