Good Samaritan laws, people have been sued for rescuing people in trouble in both the west and east before the west created Good Samaritan laws protecting vigilantes, CPR givers, etc. China doesn't have that.....a Shanghai University student was sued for helping a woman that broke her leg falling down the stairs about 2 years ago.

Several years ago in Nan King, a collage student helped an old woman who slipped down at ground, then she sued the student said it was him who pushing her down. The stupid court held that: no other evidences indicate it was not the student, though the woman cannot prove the student pushed her. So the judgement was a fine to the student with 100,000 RMB. I tend to think this case activated the evil inside the Chinese people.

I am not talking about race. Because of the political system, Chinese (as nation, not race) is being cynical and being punished for promoting value of human dignity. Because of the legal system, the people are punished merely because they help victims. This is not anything common in other country.
