  • @hangradio kyllähän minä olen

  • just bought these today, the most well worth purchase i've ever made.

  • Hi can you tell me what vst to you use on the third sample you use on the keys its the nice filthy bass one thanks :)

  • @pootangdalama92 well that,s done by Reasons Thor synthesizer, but I think Massive could be the VST you are searching.

  • heyy im having trouble using it with reason.can you tell me exactly how you hooked it up with reason 4?please it would be much appreciated!!!

  • 0:52 zomgz its like shot!!!!

  • I cant find the fav botton O_O.Its awsome and i want to fav but no fav botton?

  • @lololpwnedlolol FOUND IT X3

  • @lololpwnedlolol FOUND IT X3

  • @lololpwnedlolol lol X3 and double post.

  • nice vid just ordered the lpk and lpd how did you make your synths please let me know do you need a program. also if you know any place that explains it can you send me a link cheers.

  • @louis190691 Hi, I used Reason 4 software for those synths. You can find a lot of good tutorial videos in youtube of making synths and basses, just search something like "synth tutorial"

  • Nice demo. I picked up the LPK25 & LPD8after much research but, your demo is what convinced me in the end, thanks :-). I"m having serious (latency) delay between striking the keys/pads and hearing it. How did you deal with that? I know you're not tech support but any help is appreciated. Thanks again.

  • @airjones Thanks. I didn't guess this video could get even this popular :) If I knew, I would've put more effort in it :D But hey, have you installed "ASIO4ALL" drivers? you need those to get away from that latency problem.

  • what are those pads called underneath? and how much were they?

  • @ShortyShorty11 Akai LPD8, and I paid about 50€ from it.

  • very nice demo, looks like you can use the turn knob from LPD8 to do some pitch bend and modulation on the LPK25 note. can you?

it's the only way you can get pitch bend note out of the LPK25?

    thanks

  • @chevoton yep, you can map filters, pitch/bend, modulations and stuff on those LPD knobs. LPK doesn't have pitch/bend wheel in it, that's a small minus.

  • to me its more like plug and prey with lpd8...cant figure out how to program the pads for the fpc in fl studio and it doesnt say anywehre!!!! :(

  • @gcboyallday I might be wrong, but if you can play those fpc pads with your keyboard, and fruity recognizes your LPD, then it might be that your LPD has wrong octave notes programmed in it. Try changing your scale to chrom in LPD8 Editor. Hope it helps, and I hope you understood my explanation :)

  • Hi there can someone help me...I'm using Reason 3 with the LPD8. In Preferences -> Does the LPD8 appear as an installed AkAI device? I had to manually set mine up as an 'other' device. I cant get the AKAI to trigger any sounds in reason. The Editor is set as: PAD1: Note=C1, CC=0 PC=0. Any help would be great, thanks.

  • i was just considers buying an axiom 49 key but looking at this ive pretty much completely changed my mind this seems to have as many if not more features and its about 200 dollars cheaper

  • How did you set up the LPD8 with Reason 4?

  • Is it not supposed to work with Reason 4?

From what I've read it should be able to. If it doesn't then I'm pretty sure there's no way I want the LPD8 anymore.

  • @CHIHUAHUAconda sure it works on Reason 4 :) like I said before, this thing is pretty much plug&play, not plug&prey :)

  • I bought one Thursday, last week. LOVE it. works great in traktor, reason, vdj. haven't tried ableton but my friend was having problems. Might just be him tho because I've heard it works nicely in ableton.

  • thanks for getting back tho!

    :D

  • ok i'm sold, I'm convinced to buy one now and throw out the old m-audio 49e in the trash tomorrow lol

  • Yep, it's Reason 4, and some homemade synths :)

  • what's the program that u r using?

  • That's Reason 4, forgot to mention it in description :/

  • caNT GET MY LPD8 WORKING for mixcraft 4

  • sry, I don't have any experience with mixcraft :/

  • best product demonstration yet..i ordered mine already..hopefully be here soon...i got a question..i got really big hands..will playing the lpk25 be comfortable for me? long fingers..not too fat but still really but hands..thanks

  • for me playing lpk is easy, tho I have pretty small hands. looks like you've asked this 2weeks ago, so if you already have your lpk, why don't you share your opinion of it :) could be helpful for some people who also have bigger hands.

  • hey man nice vid. Are the two akai's good for electronic music production?

  • @xavke91 sry for late reply. I would say these are good for any electronic genre. its really easy to map filters and modulations in LPD8's knobs, and LPK is freaking awesome to play with.

  • yo, can you message me and help me out. . . ?

i cant figure out how to get the lpk working. . .

    id really appreciate it

  • I assume you have Fruity Loops. Try following: Go to Options -> MIDI settings. In Input section there should be your LPK25, select it and make sure its Enabled as a Generic controller. If that doesn't work I'm not sure whats wrong :/

  • Aika tyly hinta tuolla LPD8:lla (49e). Miltä pädit tuntuu?

  • pädit on kyllä erittäin hyvät. sopivan isot ja mukavasti koholla... kuulostaapa pervolta :D

  • Cool

  • hi are theys hard to set up in reason? thanks

  • not at all, pretty much plug and play.

  • thinking of getting the Akai LPK25. Is it worth it? The price is so good too! Also, what program are using there on your PC?

  • I would definitely recommend it, really solid piece, feels sturdy. and that software is Reason 4 at the background.

  • Cool stuff!

the keyboard looks like the korg nanokey "done right" lol

    nice setup!

  • yep, this is really good keyboard, love it :)

  • Mistä ostit/tilasit?

  • Saksasta Thomannilta

  • nättiä, nättiä :)

..mutta nyt teeppäs joku dnb-biisi pikasesti valmiiks, kiitos :D
